  • oh that's your rv! thought u were inside & had a weird tanning salon looking thing in the background holding your food. were you surfing? good luck on your own cooking show, let us know when it happens! i wish i could taste it. doesn't the raw corn cause indigestion?

  • Cool trick with the knife and the corn.

Here is our recipe of the Bok choy salad: twovegancooks com

    Enjoy

  • Why are neighbors always SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoying?

  • needs meat

  • Thank you for this, I was looking for a recipe for our Bok Choy I am making for my family for the first time. Fresh raw veggies are the best way to live and the best gift to pass down to your children. Processed foods are a death sentence. Stay the way you are, don't change a thing!

  • This guy should coin himself "The Shirtless Chef".

  • Hello!

Love the shirt off, what did you make? hahahah No seriously...Please keep shirt off.

  • I love that you admit that this was the first time you made the salad but are not afraid to try new things. Most people in this world don't think like that and it is a shame. I am going to try this salad today. I am new to your channel and love the freestyle way you prepare your food on the road at different places. It just goes to show everyone that if you can do this on the road then any of us shmoes can too. Keep up the great videos. Luv.Luv.Luv. the videos.

  • I had to ff this 5-6 times. needs serious editing, too much waffle waffle ( and all this i love you at the end, its about a salad and not your emotional shortcomings)

  • Hopefully a helpful hint: Micahel Chiarello uses a bundt pan to cut the corn off the corn. Put the bottom of the corn in the hole in the middle of the bundt pan so you can spin it while you cut, and the corn falls down into the pan.

  • i put bokchoy on everything for me its like lettuce

  • Awesome man, keep pumpin! Like ur style, im right brain too, to ur success...

  • What kind of food processor are you using?

  • Love all your videos Dan! Keep the shirt off!!!!

  • the most toxic thing to sustaining a healthy diet is the company you keep.

I am always alone in my better eating habits, so it makes things difficult when I am sepnding time with friends or relatives who don't like better food...why wouldnt you want better food???

  • thanks for good video, recipe and for sharing it. God bless you and your family!

  • Very cool recipe. I do like the shirt off as well. So the corn is raw, uncooked right...I've never had it uncooked. I will try this for sure.

  • @liferegenerator

    someone listens to circa survive.

  • sexy

  • i cant wait till i get a food processor, but isnt bok choy some what poisonous if eaten too much. im just curious

  • @WeThePeopleRleaders Everything is poisonous if you eat/drink too much of it! The difference between medicine and poison is ALL and ONLY in the dosage. If you drink too much water, it is deadly. Make sense? Love, Dan

  • @WeThePeopleRleaders Bok choy contains glucosinolates. These compounds have been reported to prevent cancer in small doses, but are toxic to humans in large doses. In 2009, an elderly woman who had been consuming 1 to 1.5 kg of raw bok choy per day developed hypothyroidism, resulting in myxedema coma.[3]

  • Hey guy thank you for your fantabulous videos and all your effort. very inspiring! I am day five of raw food'in it and totally diggin it!! By the way your simplistic recipes really made it easy to meld into life. :)

  • Great video

  • how can i learn to cook it when my eyes cant stop looking at his body???!!!!

  • Dan you rock!

  • Do whatever you want with your shirt!

  • put a shirt on.

  • I tried that once but 8,023 of my subscribers said:

    take that shirt off.

  • @liferegenerator hahahahaha awesome. nice tan by the way :)

  • @liferegenerator ahaah

  • @liferegenerator

    LMAO!!!! Nice retort Dan!!

  • @liferegenerator LOL I think you look great without the shirt. I like this dish, and can hardly wait to try it!

  • no! keep the shirt off! goodjob!

  • @tinram745 he is to showoff for that

  • What's that device that cuts up the salad?

  • A food processor, I just added the link to the vid's info section (this is an old vid, all my new vids always have the appropriate links in their info sections). Here it is too for ya, although I cannot put links in comments so just replace each 'dot' with a '.'

    food-processor(dot)life-regenerator(dot)com

  • glorious food

  • omg that salad looks amazing

  • the cutting corn tip was awesome. Thanks Dan!

  • I would like to go on a raw food diet for a couple of weeks. However, I fear that I will become gravely skinny as I'm already slim (about your size DAN). I already do the whey protein shakes with lactaid milk. I would remove milk out of my diet if I can find a shake that will give me the protein I'm looking for (about 24 grams) after a workout. Do you know of one and one that wont require Soy milk or soy products?

  • All those products leave behind a lot of residues and mucus from what I have experienced and I just love plant proteins from leafy greens way better than any dairy products! I get my protein from kale and spinach! I do not mind being thin I just can't stand being unhealthy! Drink green juices after your workouts and the quality of your muscle will astound you! :)

  • Try vega whole food optimizer or sunwarrior brown rice protein if you want a 100% raw protein powder.

  • Even more simplier than that you could use, spirulina(up to 70% protein), hemp seeds or hemp protein, bee pollen (40% protein) and many other raw vegan protein rich foods.

  • @XNinjaSebX

sorry, but Sunwarrior Protein ' powder' aint raw, its cooked ! its a dead lifeless product in a plastic bottle sitting on a shelf in a warehouse.

When they make the claim that its Raw, they are blatantly Lying to us . Sure of course Sunwarrior products are better to consume than the Other standard Junk Powders out there sold, but lets be factual, its NOT raw

  • How do you know that it's cooked?

  • thank you everyone for the answers.

  • dan,

i 'v been raw for 1 week now .i am craving for salty food.. i put lots of salt on my salad. please help me to get rid of artificial salt. is there any substitue for salt?

  • Seablite is really salty, there is probably a similar seashore/desert plant near your region

  • Hey theres a salt free salt you can buy, Its not salt at all, its called AlsoSalt. google it

  • Eat more green vegetables and herbs and your body will quit craving the sodium from the salt! Celery and spinach are very good for this!

  • @hardtarget2009

use some Natural celtic grey sea salt now , and soon you wont need any salt

  • Dan, my comment "your beauty can be quite persuasive" was directed at so1usion for telling you to compost and not you. Although you are a beautiful person too, I'm a straight man and prefer so1lusion for her femininity. YouTube doesn't always make it obvious that a comment is intended to be a reply to another comment.

  • Phew...I was scared for a second there! lol :D

  • great recipe, gotta try it with a few of my own modifications :)

  • Please compost your unwanted fruits/veg, Dan! Love your videos, very inspiring, but it hurts to watch your plastic waste go in the same rubbish bin as your green waste!!!

  • agreed

  • Your beauty can be quite persuasive.

  • where can i get the cutter lol it looks like it works fantastic

  • Dan you are the man

  • do you use organic or conventional bok choy?

  • I am new to exploring a higher raw diet (so far only about maybe 60-70%)... really new - but so far I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW F#@%! GOOD FEEL! I cant wait to try this salad so thank-you. I am addicted to smoothies as my breakfast and have become enchanted by nori wraps with all kinds of goodies stuffed in them. Its my evenings meals that I struggle with. Thanks again.

  • Keep on keep in on, you are doing great! Have patience and be gentle with yourself. #1 thing STAY AWARE AND AWAKE DURING EVENING MEAL TIMES! In no time at all you will be 100% raw, because you will witness the energy change and be like "screw that"!

  • I was able to make this salad tonight and I enjoyed it so much!

    Thank you for sharing it.

    Debbie *Ü*

  • This looks so good - I think I'll make a run to the store and pick up the ingredients.

We're down in the Tri-Cities - isn't Washington State the best place to live?!

Thank you for the videos ~

    Debbie *Ü*

  • Sounds great, will give this one a try.
