ah much more fun bosses back then, more of a challenge (ozma ;)) even hitting 9999 x4 (each character) per turn on a boss with only 65k could totally wipe you out :P

@lucirz I read a theory that he's the true spiritual form of SoulCage/the Iifa Tree. He seems to share some of Garland's (his creator) ideas about life and death and the Iifa Tree appears to die after you defeat him instead of merging Terra with Gaia, which was imminent according to Kuja.

NECRON IS NOT RANDOM, you people need to understand that he's pretty much death, He take you to the afterlife, he sends you to the void, etc.

In japan, this boss' name is "The Darkness Of Eternity".

I don't know why, but it is also the name of the music played during the fight with Trance Kuja (also known as Dark Messenger).

You might think this boss is random, but Kuja's deep despair called this existence. I think it is the symbol of humans' despair and darkness.

@jpanimegamefan I thought Necron was trying to ride the world of despair and pain (by destroying it), and Kuja's actions, his personal feelings, and the all the strife he brought to the world caused him to appear, but he existed well before he appeared. I could be wrong though.

for zidane.....keep atking till u have ur trance activated.....then keep using ur strongest move on ur oppenent....for amarant is juz for atking....^^

1st cast ruby light on our team.....then have vivi to use a ultimate blk magic such as firaga/blizzaga/thundaga....n more....on ur own party....dun forget the ruby light on ur party....after u cast a powerful blk magic n u'll see wht happens....ur oppenent will get a demange for 'bout 9999......for 1.....i tried it b4....i'm not lying......

zidane:have the most strongest TRANCE atk....even 1 slash does a lot of damange

vivi:good in black magic....can combo eith my eiko's ruby light....

eiko as my 1st most useful supporter....can use curaga anytime anywhere....n also ruby loight on my party for vivi to do extra damange....

n also amarant....a tru warrior with the highest atk n spd....

to du a trick i'm talking 'bout vivi n eiko...is easy...

I did this fight with Zidane, Dagger, Freya, and Steiner. It makes a decently rounded party.

Zidane- Can't get rid of him, does 9999 with Thievery, can Sacrifice in a pinch

Dagger- Heal and Atomos for 9999 dmg

Freya- Reis' Wind defeats the need to equip Auto-regen on any character. Dragon Crest does 9999 dmg, Jump is amazing in trance

Steiner-Climhazzard. By the higher levels it does 9999 too with his Rune Blade equip

Freya Dagger Steiner autopotion for 900, Zidane for 450.

In fact, in the last battles you can get rid of him. Just don't choose him.

ＦＦの隠しボスってヤズマット先生も含めて確かに強いけど、ＦＣ­版Ⅱのデスライダーやクアールのような緊張感はないな。　デスライダーの「16回ヒット9822」とかクアールの「1回ヒ­ット0ダメージ・命を奪われた」とかないもんね。

Yeah...I noticed my Zidane didn't had got so powereful Thievery this time.

I should have grown his Thievery until he got 9999. :(

Then I l tried to let him attack with his sword this time. :)

well if your jsut attacking with Zidane i suggest you this

Always use MP Attack, Bird Killer, Devil Killer, Man Eater and be sure that all your outfit increases Zidane strengh

no auto-regen than equip shadow absorbing items and use doomsday when neded if you use amaranth he can heal two HP AND MP

I use an incomplete set of characters (and working on it)

All chars have: Auto-Life, and working on auto regen. with Half MP with all casters. (Vivi has Reflect2x and Auto-Reflect) Auto haste in Zidane and Steiner

I just put Dagger there because Ark looks so cool xD (Transform!)

Eiko's my Main healer, with Reflect-Null for Vivi to catch Curaga

Steiner is my Shock-er xD and Zidane is my Trance-Offensive

I'm just to lazy to catch frogs for Quina, and Freya looks good with the White Draw
