thank you very much! I'll give a try. about the pulleys i found that if rubber is a quite soft the mill solution is great solution. btw if rubber is very dry mill solution is also very good but in the first minutes of working pulleys will be a little noisy ( very less btw). when tubes'll heat mechanics problem 99% disapear... so... in case of very dry pulleys if think refubrish is best solution.
@ignitore I have a Sony r2r & cassete player ... on that one, i used the "mill solution" =] It is working fine with low mechanical noise. When i get some spare money and free time, i'll send those pulleys for refurbish =]
the infamous problem of noisy pulleys! I had to mill the pulleys of my 258 and the problem is 90% gone but if it' s cold it's noisy in the first minutes. have some link to buils an input adapter ?cause i' s like to rip some music in the tapes.
@ignitore Indeed, the noisy pulleys! I did nothing about, yet. I´ll ask for a local specialist to refurbish the pulleys.
To adapt the input you'll need an 220Ohms resistor in parallel between input and ground and a 220uF capacitor in series wih the input . Simple as that =] [sorry for my english]
I don' t know why YT don't let post the link of the video!!! anyway you find it under geloso g600 input adapter
