Everything was superb, but the boy's choir sounds really dreadful. Horribly out of tune, and unbelievably bad timbre. I couldn't believe my ears at that disgusting sound, it was quite a shock after the first 16 bars of excellent basses and tenors.

Flame on me all you like, call me a heartless monster, but if you like the sound of that boy's choir, you are tone-deaf.

Vergleichbar dem Magnificat von J. S. Bach bringt es diese Kantate unübertrefflich knapp und präzise auf den Punkt. Nachdem ich diese Kantate vor Jahren schon einmal mitsingen durfte, freue ich mich auf die nächste Gelegenheit dazu.
