I am from Donetsk and I don't have anything against Ukrainian language itself. What I hate is that the government does not allow me to speak Russian. We were taught that these are separate, but closely related languages that belong to the same language group - East-Slavonic, like for example Polish, Chech, Slovacian belong to West-Slavonic.
