Actually Michael Learned was better than Patricia Neal as Olivia Walton. And Will Geer was better than Edgar Bergan as Grandpa Walton. That's just my opinion though.

when times with family meant something.....things have changed but not all things changed for the best. remember family barbeques and sunday dinner at your parents house. kids today are to busy playing games on the computer or texting there friends. both parents working because we want 2 new cars and tv's in every room, have to keep up with the Jones.

I just absolutely love this movie. No holiday is complete without this movie.
