And I guess when a forward scores they are just "random goals" (no real skill) eh? # 2 is good, but what makes it impressive is when 1) it is at limit of reach 2) quick reaction 3) multiple in row 4) cleared well. There is no golden rule to great saves really - keep limber, keep the line, be confident, don't give up.
big deal in australia melbourne to be exact, in our top 4 state leagues you would see goalie saves like that all the time and as for the short corners ahhh yawn!
I do not agree with the chosen saves at all. I've seen way more better saves. The #1 save is oke, but it's not the best of Vogels. His best is the one of in the final.
was´n der fábregas für ein vogel. macht nach jedem safe einen auf weltmeister...

can someone PLEASE explain to me why the goalies in this sport don't have a CATCHING glove like in ice hockey??
T0rche 1 year ago
@T0rche ... because that's not how the game is played.
It's like asking why a baseball player doesn't have a wider bat? or abasketball player doesn't hae springs on their shoes.

#2 is without a doubt the best... so little reaction time and he makes a great split to the ball

There were better saves in the EHL , clearly the people who complated the vid weren't keepers.

Even tough I play football (soccer) it would be cool to try this hockey sport out, looks fun.

Have to go with Marat Gafarov No2. To make a save like that with such little time to react and with his feet - truly awesome

All saves were good. like always there can be discussed what one was best. But i think every save has its difficulties.

uhh.. man, im doing the same saves in every single game.. How the hell could this be the top 10? Sorry

Are you sure these are the TOP ten? I've done better than most of those playing in mens rep.
I'd put $10 on the fact that it wasn't a goalie picking these.

Rank # 2 save by Marat is my # 1 for the sheer display of reflexes against an un- anticipated close deflection.
