the tmobile tap is a cool touch screen phone its not that much all high tech like the behold and mytouch its pretty simple it doesnt have all those fancy apps and stuff you would see on a android phone and the tap has a t9 keyboard and a on screen qwerty keyboard...i have the tap and im pretty much loving it but i rather get the behold II

No its not the apps to worry about its updates. If the phone has no updates it will run slow an buggy. You can get apps later time when lots of people buy it.

First of all, you're a fucking moron. I love "tech guys" who flame other posts because you're so easily fascinated by some other phone or a "top competitor".

Now, having said that...this is made by SAMSUNG, not Motorola...so it couldn't be a "copy", smart ass. Secondly, this device ships with Android 1.5 (Cupcake), not Android 2.0 such as the Droid. Not to mention, the Droid DOES NOT have a custom user interface like the Behold 2 does. Samsung has "TouchWiz".

Also, the Behold 2 has an AMOLED (high resolution) display. The Droid has a hi-res display, larger, but NOT nearly as crisp. Motorola is NOT known for their innovative designs for televisions...Samsung is.

The Behold 2 camera not only has dual-LED flash, but it has 19 different camera modes, 28 user customizable effects, and lighting settings, etc.

The VK on the Tap is almost impossible for someone like myself to type on. It's so difficult to use, IMO. Not to mention it's a resistive touch screen, QVGA display...it's so small and the keys are crammed together on a "Compact QWERTY" layout. The Tap is a Huawei device...not HTC. But it's supposed to resemble the HTC Tattoo...which it certainly does. As for the OS, it's just some basic software, nothing fancy.

You cannot really compare the Cliq and Behold 2. They are aimed at two completely different audiences. However, the media functionality for the Behold 2 is quite nice, then again...so it's the Cliq's. Lol. It's a pretty close race IMO.

Did you check the system settings for processor information? I've read that it has the 800mHz but Samsung is being kind of quiet about the specs...

Samsung has done a pretty great job of keeping the system information hidden. I played with the device for about 5 hours...literally running through absolutely everything...NO SYSTEM INFORMATION can be found "easily". As for the processor...it's using the same chip set that the MyTouch and G1 are using.

There's no flash in the web browsing for the Behold 2. There's NO flash functionality for the Droid either. However, the Droid Eris should support it considering it has HTC Sense. I don't mind what devices T-Mobile gets that are Android as long as I can root them.

Fugging Nice. I like how when you swipe between screens there is a different wallpaper. The new notification bar is sick as a cancer patient. Never heard of the Tap...not as appealing as the Behold 2. Looks like the next best thing to Droid

The Behold 2 is incredible to say the least. The camera is the absolute best one I've ever used on a phone. PERIOD! The flash is excellent, quality is unmatched, and the 3.2-inch AMOLED display really amplifies the picture clarity.

Trust me, when you palm the Behold 2; it's one of the "best feeling" devices in terms of comfort and weight distribution.

It's quite bright as well. I like it more compared to the Cliq's notification LED.

But, the ambient light sensor on the Cliq is the best one I've ever seen on a handheld device.

The Behold 2 has a much more advanced screen. AMOLED is the way of the future as I said previously. Lol. It's so crisp, clear, and extremely bright. The camera is far superior because it also includes LED flash. The camera can take panoramic shots as well. Other than that, not much...but it depends on your preferences.

Yeah, the Cliq has an excellent keyboard...much nicer than the G1's keyboard. I currently own both...as well as a MyTouch. The Cliq is my favorite thus far. I'll be purchasing the Behold 2 as well.

I like the "shake" refresh feature as well. It has a lot of interesting gesture-based functionality. It's quite nice...but still, not quite the "sickest" Android device out there. But certainly THE BEST camera I've seen on an Android device to-date.
