I shoot in nra bullseye competitions, and have several friends who are LE or comp shooters. Also, look up massad ayoob to see the "power crease" in action. You can be ignorant all you want. But just show up to one competition, and you will see people shooting with their finger from the crease out to the tip. All successfully. And I never said not to use the pad of the finger. I said to do what works for you. Your wrong, you tried to be an internet know it all, and FAILED.
The right technique is the one that works. Search "power crease" on google, im sure something will come up. And I like your idiotic reasoning "even if the best in the world use it successfully, they are doing it wrong." What good logic. Maybe you should go check out some comp shoots instead of getting info off the web.
Everyone is an internet expert. Several of the top shooters in the WORLD use the joint of finger. On a super light trigger, the tip of the finger can be used just fine, but many top shooters I have seen, read, or talked to use the power crease as there finger position of choice.
I have one, in forty )))
