  • Government subsidies helped a lot of fledgling start-ups. So, government funded research did do this. However, this has NOTHING TO DO WITH ENTITLEMENT SPENDING. See Bill Whittle's Afterburner for a breakdown in Accounts Payable/Receivable for the US Government. The amount of money we are having to borrow for entitlements is ABSURD.

  • On one hand this turd promotes 'govt funded research' and 'freedom', yet on the other hand this turd denies the releasing of tesla technology, alternatives to fossil fuels and promotes a self destructive alliance with Israel.

You have 2 choices under this regime (repubLIEiCAN OR democrap) cannon fodder for the elites, or a zombie troll working minimum wage, earning just enough to pay your utilities, taxes, student loan or overvalued mortgage.

  • @straty01 If you vote Ron Paul I personally take the responsibility for promising you change. I have a degree in economics and I'll answer any question you have concerning your economy. I can also explain the pragmatism of classical liberalism and why Ron Paul can save you from a great depression.

  • "thousands of americans have jobs" because thousands more pay their salaries with portions of their labor and effort

  • @natritious1 yeah thats called a government, get over it.

  • @MyDormantSoul No. We're not going to get over it. That isn't what America is. That isn't what freedom is you fucking domesticated cunt.

  • @PrivateAckbar so you believe the only way to have a good and free life is for there to be no government? Is that your premise? Please tell me how we can proceed to live in one. Please make sure to tell how long it will take for my family and I to live in this better, stateless society. You see because we have bills to pay, freedoms and liberties to protect right now, and I cant afford to be wasting my time on ideological concepts that I could only support on a comment board. So please. Tell me.

  • @MyDormantSoul Do you think that the way things are now is the way things have always been? Or the way they've been in prosperity? Do you think there's any reason they need to be this way? America is about to experience it's second great depression and Europe is designing a world government as it's economies collapse one by one. Do you think it's politically or economically pragmatic not to value individual liberty?

  • @PrivateAckbar So you dont believe that we should stop the consolidation of power by the international banks? You said it yourself, there is going to be world government, thats from the IMF which now controls greece, as well as the unregulated banks which cause market collapses by gambling our investments and securities and bankrupting nations into austerity. SO you dont believe in putting up laws against them? You dont beleive in getting money out of politics, which leads to things like SOPA?

  • @MyDormantSoul The judicial system is integral to a free market! Why are you equating laws with government? You can't get money out of government. Government get's money out of you and returns you things like SOPA. Why the fuck am I even arguing with you?

  • @PrivateAckbar Who is going to enforce laws then? The answer anarchs have are insurance companies called conflict resolution agencies. But what happens when a CRA isnt big enough? Corps will be able to out buy them, they buy their own private armies like the merchant tribes of Africa did during the slave trade. You end up with a warfare, tribal society, because there is no united force, everyone becomes violent instead of just the government. Or you end up with corps not having to follow the law

  • @MyDormantSoul You have minimal government for things like defense. I'm not an anarchist I'm a libertarian. Just read Milton Friedman and Rothbard if you've got questions. You don't need force. You're fucking tedious.

  • @PrivateAckbar Yes I've read Friedman, I used to be a rightwing libertarian. So you believe that we should spend millions on military but not on uplifting the millions in the growing ghettos so that they can have a chance at paying for school and not resorting to crime? So you believe the govt is intruding on our freedoms with these programs which reduce crime? So its not force when funding the military, but it is force when its on education & helping the working class & the public as a result?

  • @MyDormantSoul It IS force when funding the military. It's force when you enforce a judicial system. If people were pacifists there would be no problem. You are NOT liberal. If you've read Friedman then you weren't moral enough to get it. What do you mean WE can help whatever group you're sympathies with? You're advocating criminality. It doesn't WORK!

  • @PrivateAckbar Well lets see how many groups there are in this society. From an economic perspective we have the ruling class, the upper class, middle class, and the working class. The middle and upper class are beautiful, they have the economic resources to pursue art, science, and social action, they can pay for their living expenses and enjoy the passions of life. The working class cannot, they struggle everyday to pay their bills and keep their jobs. Yes, I sympathize with the working class

  • @MyDormantSoul Well that PREJUDICE doesn't justify being a criminal. If we didn't violate peoples rights EVERYONE could be ordering mansions in the male right now. Keep redistributing that wealth and you'll all be on breadlines. I'm really done with you. If you've read Friedman and I have to tell you any of this you're dumb and immoral. Stop filling my inbox.

  • @PrivateAckbar no not yet, tell me how everyone could be ordering mansions. WIthout the tax system and government programs you'd be paying tolls at every private road, you'd be earning whatever your employer wanted to pay you, you'd be paying higher health premiums for all the lead poisoning from your products, like the people of the deregulated china would be if they didnt at least have universal healthcare.

  • @MyDormantSoul What the fuck do you mean no not yet? This isn't a freedom of speech issue. You're being obnoxious in my inbox. I don't think it's worth explaining anything to you so I don't want to talk.

  • @PrivateAckbar no not yet as in no dont run away from the debate yet. You havent debated on youtube before? Calm down and stop swearing at me. Yes I was a libertarian, what dont I understand? Friedman espoused free trade, I havent said a damn thing against it. And classical liberalism is now minute, it evolved into modern conservatism and was erased by Reagan & the Neocons. Modern liberalism wants to secure the working class's and minority liberties it is otherwise a small govt ideal, a step up.

  • @MyDormantSoul You have so little understanding of economics and free market forces. So little liberalism. I know you were never a Libertarian. What the fuck do you mean no not yet? I know you're incapable of understanding and I don't want to talk to you. Every question you ask makes me realise I didn't teach you anything in the comments prior. You can keep messaging me if you wan't to be a cunt but I'm done.

  • @MyDormantSoul I believe the only way to have peace is to respect classical liberalism. That non-aggression IS peace. In1887 an appropriation bill passed by congress for ten thousand dollars to aid Texas farmers struggling in a drought. Grover Cleavland vetoed the bill because he understood taxation was a crime. The farmers prospered on the charity of private individuals, part of which he donated. When asked how much of your freedom you need to give up to help people the answer is ALWAYS zero.

  • @MyDormantSoul If you understand that this is what government is why do you support it? Do you think it creates or destroys wealth?

  • @MyDormantSoul yeah its called theft and I'm never going to accept it or it wouldnt be theft it'd be charity you goddamn slave

  • @natritious1 I'm sure you just accepted the bully who stole your lunch money ever day in school too. Thats the only way you could be so submissive.... but maby if the goverment stole from me my whole live I'd encourage the young to accept it too

  • @natritious1 so you dont believe in having a military? You dont believe in building codes? You dont believe in laws against dumping in lakes & rivers? You dont believe in affordable education? You dont believe in filing law suits against those who wrong you? You dont believe in laws against theft, murder, and assault? You dont believe in children's protective services? You dont believe in food and health standards? You dont believe in collective investment? You dont believe in the rule of law?

  • @MyDormantSoul I don't believe in coercion so nope I don't believe in anything that involves conpulsions and anything that ultimately relies upon violence to keep in power

  • @natritious1 So in your stateless, market based society there isnt going to be violence? What happens when someone kills or robs a man? He is ostracized and removed from all economic transaction. You dont think thats not going to ruin his life? In the stateless society you take away any chance at rehabilitation and you end with a permanent form of justice rather than a period based 1 like a judicial system. You wanna give up on all our progress rather than take back our government Your impatient

  • @MyDormantSoul If you kill or rob in a statless society you will be punished accordingly. Just because there is no monopoly on force doesn't mean there won't be a police and system of law

  • @natritious1 in fact, the biggest murderer and Theif IS the state!

  • @natritious1 ok so I want you to be specific, because we cant live on generalities, we are individuals here not concepts. See, I used to be a freemarket anarchist, but I want you to tell what I already know; how will there be a sustainable police and system of law? Go.

  • @MyDormantSoul I don't have all the answers I'm on a path to knowledge like you are. I do know that decentralization seems to work whenever it is applied and I think it would be worth atleast trying out. The other commenter is right, we're about to go through some serious shit and its not because of the free market

  • @natritious1 you dont have all the answers, yet you will vehemently defend your ideology to death. It is rigid, it does not have a clear plan, and it is not helping our current situation. I am a liberal, I want to cap campaign contributions by a large sum. I dont want banks to be able to take whatever risks they want with MY pension. I dont want them to crash the economy, then spend billions with big oil, ie Koch bros to fund an anti-government ideology when the ppl are about to demand justice.

  • @MyDormantSoul If you need piles of human corpses to acheive your ends then FUCK NO I don't want any of it you stupid slave

  • @MyDormantSoul I have ZERO faith or allegiance in you Failing System WHATSOEVER and that goes for you AND the neocons

  • What a piece of garbage. It is PRIVATE research that contributed the improvement of standard of living to mankind. Governments love to take credit for something they have done nothing to help, and often obstructed. Government research leads to more weapons and more surveillance equipment to control the population.

  • @DanMorin007 I was blown away when President Obama said this. It discredits all the inventors and entrepreneurs who worked out of garages and warehouses to create the first motorcycles, computers, etc. It's unfortunate that government has presented itself in this false bravado of usefulness.
