  • Does he say 'F*ck U' at the end? lol

  • @sunkingh

    No, he says "That's me".

  • @sunkingh He says "What now"?

  • Damn i haven't seen this video since 1979 or 80. bought this album right when it came out. 79 was a great year for music! Elvis Costello did his best stuff then too!

  • 1st heard joe jackson when i was about 10 'beat crazy' loved this im the man, ageless.

  • I'm the man! -- Wow, I don't know how long its been since I've last heard this! I do remember buying the album back when it was first released, like 30 years ago. Definitely a favorite.

    Thanks!

  • joe was the man in 79!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Soooooooooo cool!!

  • Cà fait du grand bien de se remettre du grand Joe J. dans les oreilles !

  • Makes me bob my head even if I don't want to.

  • love love love it! This is my favorite Joe Jackson song (I'm The Man). I have all of his other stuff and I like all of it, but this new wave tune was an effin great one! Love the guitars on this one, so cool to hear on the club speakers! LOUD! Oh yeah, let's pogo (it was really new when this came out).

  • putain!!! çà rappele le bon temps! merci joe!!!!!!!

  • Pork Pie Hats. Mmmm. Yum.

  • I almost made skateboards respectable!

    I heart skateboarding.

  • Kung fu

  • Skateboards

  • hula-hoop

  • Joe Jackson RULEZ

  • Class act,so many great toones, shame he didnt get more recognition, thanks for sharing.

  • napoleon dynamite.....who knew he could sing?

  • That's an aka E.Costello used but i'm sure it fits them both.

  • I was front row when JJ opened for the "Who" in Toronto..I wish the who would have opened for JJ

  • I had the 8-track "Look Sharp"

  • Love me some Joe Jackson! I have a special edition version of this album, a small box with several (5, I think) double-sided singles instead of a large LP.

Saw JJ in concert in Durham, NC in 1982 or 1983. He ROCKED.

  • I loved Joe since my first 8-track tape to my new CD collection...this guy had talent!!! He's The Man!!!

  • This totally rocks;I bet John Mellencamp ripped this off with his song ROCK In the USA!

  • Where is the original song with the heavy voice? I like that one the most.

  • Great song, brilliant lyrics, what a spiv!

  • nice hat

  • Great song. All of his songs are great to those of us who can relate to the WORDS.

  • more incredible songwriting from one of the all time greatest artists YOU THE MAN JOE!! have a listen to Memory Box by Barry McCann if you are into song based stuff, it's really cool

  • Love this shit! Ya got 'On the radio?'

    Always real hard to find.

  • Great new wave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • god i love joe jackson from back then! everyone i played it for loved it because it was fresh and cool!

  • Joe Jackson was awesome! Then after a couple of great albums he went and did that Steppin Out crap and then dropped off the face of fm radio.

  • Genius, style, humour and sly grace: your name is JOE JACKSON!!!!

  • thank god! 4 my dad, he taught me the best music eva!!!!!!!!!

  • HE IS ENGLISH- BROUGHT UP IN PORTSMOUTH. Read his auto biography (cure for gravity) or google him.

  • I'm pretty sure I've seen this dude around Times Sq....

  • Joe has lived in New York for many years so it's entirely possible.

  • Holy crap the second half is loud LOL Thanks for these.

  • Simply the BEST of that era. Always loved his song "pretty boys" poking fun at the mass produced garbage that was coming out at the time. Always wished JJackson & FZappa, each with his unique peculiar wit and biting social commentary, would have written/recorded something together. Instead we got the fluffy likes of Sir PMcCartney & Michael Jackson ;-[

  • 'say say say' rox

  • Genius!

  • wow,my older brother bought this when i was 14,i used to sneak in his room and play it on 45vinyl when he had gone to the pub, superb thanx for posting this.

  • amazing

  • mickey pearce this is your role modle

  • Qui est l'abruti qui a mis un "thumb down" à lilix???? Enculé! :o)

En plus, Metz it's an amazing city! I love it!

    Joe Jackson is a genius!

  • I like the song and this funny boy!!

  • J'ai vu JJ en concert près de Metz il y a 2 jours... Toujours la péche ! Ses textes n'ont pas pris une ride ! J'ai rajeuni de 30 ans !

  • Joe IS the Man!

  • Lou Bega owes him.

  • Gosh!! I played this song in a cover band so many times. At the time this came out it had such a great in your face punk feel, but it also had a refined mature feel...so dang cool. ANd I'd never seen the video till now. And with all the pretty boy pretensions of the MTV era, which this predates...so dang clever.

  • Yes! Yes! Yes!
