Not the fastest e39 m5 in the world. I've seen an 8.8 second 1/4 run out of another e39.. I'd be shocked to see much under 12 seconds with this one.. This is just a run of the mill s/c m5 - if you visit the website listed and look it up - you'll also see it has about 900 lbs of stereo gear and other random ghey - non go-fast bits..

It was being towed away from discovery automotive (they always take pictures of the cars as they are leaving) on its way back to Bahrain. The guy who owns it now is located in the United States and I'm sure he drives it.

the car was originally made for the man mentioned in the video, then was sold to a guy (and fellow m5board member) in the US. Car was built by discovery automotive. They have done several of these cars (there is another video of one on youtube - search phillym5). they produce anywhere from 600-800 rwhp depending on boost. Truly awesome machines.
