it's interesting the new ones are said to have a more through action down the whole rod. Tip sounds like it's made better for bite detection. My guess would be that it's a bit softer and has less range but that's just a guess. Thanks

Frosty, I haven't seen any of the new AFAW rods so I just don't know.

Hi Tommy, have you seen any of the MkII of this rod? I wonder if it has the same casting ability or if it is a whole new rod?

I think I might get a MkI to use for field practice. However if the MkII has far better guides etc it might be worth paying the extra.
