There is no debate, however, that Andreas Scholl is a premier countertenor singer with fine timbre, remarkable technique, and great musicality brought about by in-depth training and a life of singing.

Scholl is still my favorite falsettist performing today. The Dellers and James Bowman are very important figures in the history of the counter-tenor, but I just can't get over how flawless Andreas's technique is. I hope he never stops recording for many years to come.
