Starfire was sent into the future because just before Warp left for the future, she attacked him and both went into the time stream, while fighting him, She rips off his quantum regulator before they could reach 100 years. She stopped him at 20 years

It's funny how all the stories are connected but told in different ways, robin leaving batman to become nightwing, later in teen titans after still being robin he becomes nightwing, and in one episode of static shock, yes that show, he asks batman where robin is and batman says he's with the titans. Bleh, 3 different stories all told differently and with the same endings. Robin becomes nightwing.

The confusion is because dick grayson of teen titans, in the animated looks like Tim.

@TheScorpionMK37 no, he first joins the Teen Titans as Robin, but when his methods and ideologies get compromised by the amount of time he spend with the Titans (he can´t be as cold as Batman) leads him to abandon Batman and the identity of Robin, becoming Nightwing instead

If you read the comics about the original Teen Titans, you see that Robin is in fact Dick Grayson and his reason for leaving Batmans side was because he couldn't be both the Titans leader and a sidekick. I wish I could keep up with the comics but they're pretty old and most likely very expensive. The Teen Titans cartoon takes place while they are still very young (Teenagers) while in the comics they are older and more mature.

@nzo41x well, actually, unless they changed it the reason for Dick's split with Batman is that the Joker shot him while on a mission and Batman refused to allow him to continue as Robin. Add to that Dick was starting college, spending time with the Titians, etc... and it just all came to a head with Dick moving out of the manor and going on his own. He went without a costume or alias for awhile (he even grew a beard), then later settled on Nightwing.

@DemomanX614 Dick quit because he didn't like Batman's method of getting information (after witnessing him beat up a man in front of his wife and kid) so he quit and became Nightwing, after a while he recruits Tim Drake (which is wrong because Jason Todd is supposed to be the second Robin) and they continue from there. Long story short everyone splits their separate ways and go on with life and Bruce becomes old and decrepit, thats where Terry Mcguiness comes in.

When she was sent into the future the Titans drifted apart; she was the one holding them together in this show. Each went their separate ways: Robin became Nightwing, Raven wore white and isolated herself into a white room, Beast Boy became a one-person zoo, and Cyborg stayed in the tower to stay charged; if he left the tower he'd shut down shortly afterward.

@hollyhock18x7 Not necessarily. With Nightwing as referance, yes, he should be Dick Grayson; but, Dick didn't use the staff, Tim Drake did. In actuality, it shouldn't be either Dick nor Tim, it should be Jason, since he was the one who was in the Teen Titans comic with Starfire and Beast Boy, and the one who had a romantic involvement with Starfire, like this series' Robin. The new series does have Raven with Tim Drake as Red Robin, though. The producer actually never chose which one he was.
