I say its strange as I have no idea about where you are implying their immodesty? Their costumes are fairly normal and their confidence as it goes for teenage grils is ok....getting better the more they perform.....so perhaps if you could elaborate

@Taniaq I'm talking about their costumes. If you say it's normal, then okay, but then normal is immodest. No judgement on the girls themselves though.

@broadwayismyhome - I think you need to look at some dance comp videos on here re costumes. The style of the costume was perfect for what we were doing which was a Moulin Rouge style show. We have a TV show on here in NZ that has girls dancing in the exact same costumes as ours are wearing but in black and yellow - and that show is on prime family viewing time. I think immodest is a strange thing to try and apply to dancers.

That's all very well and good to say but these girls do dancing for fun, not as seriously as others do at other schools, so they (mostly) come to one maybe 2 classes per week for 45 minutes each. No other dance practises or workshops. At the time of this show they didn't do competitions and this was their first 'proper' show other than their end of year recital in which they would probably perform one to two dances not 10-16 like in this show. Not all dance schools work the same

Because he wasn't a dancer and only did that part as a favour to his sister who choreographed it

Ha I think I'd know but you are right there is 2-4 girls in this that may have been a bit older than the others as it was a mixed group of different classes

Magnolia Dance Academy is doinh a recital to this song 44 jazz and it looks really good. haha i love the beat of this song its like a mixture of a bigilan different typespf music

Very weak performance, where is the energy? Very lackluster. The music is upbeat, but none of the women are. Whack!! Look like a bunch of confused flamingos on stage.

These are 13-14 girls with no previous experience.....I think they have done very well. They are working hard on putting more 'oomph' into their dancing

My Mother made the majority of the costumes for this show. These were red knickers and bras from a bargain store that she sewed red fringing on to
