man your bike is bicthin i love it sounds , looks amazing are those drag bars did you have to modify the stock to fit them ? but that is a nice build man
those are the stock bar mounts, but it is a piece of plumbing Copper pipe (polished and clearcoated). I also put an iron sleeve inside it. (Boy was that hard to get in!)
i sure do. 6k miles last summer. I hit a dog, and street fightered it this winter. I dont show it, but when i took this video last month, it was still 38 degrees farenheit out. and this is a WARM day! Temps are still averageing low 30's. Couple months it'll warm up. i'll get some ripping videos.
true. if you want big power i guess it is an easy way to do it. you gonna run a gsxr 1000 swingarm with all that power. any plan for some gixxer forks? what front fender is that? stock? i have gen 1 b12 that front fender is completely different.
the whole front end is from a Honda 954, forks, fender, wheel, and brakes. I modified the fender a little bit. And nope, no gsxr swingarm, i love the bandit arm. straight and simple. Not a fan of extended arms either. I will have to get some stronger axle bearing carriers though. i don't like the tentioner style on the bandit much at all.
the b12 has a torque curve that is a work of art and possibly one of the most fun to ride bikes because of it. why would you want to ruin it with a turbo? you should look into a port and polish, cams, piston kit. you could retain rideability and just increase torque and hp across the revs.
ruin what? There's no such thing as too much hp. Plus i love throwing turbo's on all my toys. But you are absolutely right about the power curve of the bandits, they're so nice to ride. I love the torque in the low rpms, and only needing a 5spd tranny. But hey, turbo... why not? This bike, as you can see, isn't about comfort anymore haha. It's the bad-ass factor of having a turbo on a bike. Who wants to do power wheelies in 5th? :)
such an ugly butt...put a sharp sleek butt on it and itll look nice

Where did you get the rear seat from?
harryjimbob 3 years ago
Made it from Kayak Seat foam. After shaving it down to size with 40 grit sandpaper, i toasted the surface with a torch to give it a leathery look.

I just watched... THat's a crazy paint job! Don't drop it!!!!!! haha. That would be a bitch to have to blend / repaint.
The short can i made. It was a full size Yoshimura pipe, i drilled out the rivets, cut it down short, hollowed it out, and re-riveted it.
I'm not sure how much the Turbo is going to add... I'll be done w/ the kit in a few weeks. Should be fun!
