Maybe you could combine your illustrating and youtube. Like what AgentXPQ does. He does a cool mixture of illustration and life-philosophizing. Not that you have to do exactly that, but the general idea seems plausible, I think. That way you can still have fun with youtube, but your illustrations would be the true focus.

Moths eeeesh...I didn't realize people actually were into moths as a thing...but I'm biased because of my whole vampire moth experience.

Also I thought the majority of people who make videos on youtube do it for fun. It is only a small percentage who are actually partners.

You could film yourself while creating your artwork and then use the footage as B roll transitions in the middle of your vlogs. At the end of the video you could show the finished product or something.

The issue I have with youtube is because of how the site is laid out, it's hard to connect to those "fun" people. There should be a way to bring that community together.

This might sound silly but I think you should apply at Home Depot! I was the same as you I knew NOTHING about cashiering or working in retail but Home Depot gives you sooooo much training that you feel very confident. Plus the pay is pretty awesome. Good luck finding a job!! :)

running shoes: ASICS are the way to go. Usually at footlocker they have at least one pair on sale for like 40-60 bucks. Black is the only color that doesn't look ridiculous though haha
