  • Yum.

  • Beautiful area there, the bush is very different to here in Australia. Thanks for showing us around

  • I love all your videos. I love your life style. Well done. :)

  • how much do you make trapping in a year?

  • I just bought a 12 ounce bottle of organically-grown concentrated cranberry juice (no sugar added, just cranberries). Here in the big city, that cost me $11.00.

  • Fucking cool! That's all.

  • just found your channel really enjoy the videos

  • Did your Dad turn you on to the outdoors life?

  • If a city slicker like me came into your neck of the woods and saw a scene like 2:36, he'd be scared shitless.

  • do you ever get lonely for sum beaver lol or pussy

  • Love how you just gave-er at the end at and drank her all at once! love your videos man.

    keep at er!

  • you forgot the vodka!

  • do you know how to make pemican?

  • another way of making highbush cranberry juice is wait for a drunken grouse(they eat the fermented cranberries and gets buzzed and crazy)to crash through your window and you have highbush cranberrie juice all over your floor...You can have fresh grouse and cranberry juice for dinner. instead of picking Lead shot out of the bird your picking out glass.

  • omg, I could just taste that cranberry juice when you downed it, lol, like it was real in my own mind. Fucking outstanding

  • be awsome to just chill with you a week or two...especially while checking your traplines...dudes like you, humble dudes like me :-)

  • They say the squirrels and other small animals will eat the bones and antlers for the calcium in them. Thats why they hung them in the trees. dont know foor sure tho.

  • thats true

  • Hi I make cranberry jelly out of highbush and is tasty. I trap here in NewBrunswick, Canada. Like all your videos. keep up the good work man.

  • This is awesome. I really enjoy your video's. How did you figure all this stuff out?

Did you have parents to show you or grandparents or were you self taught? You are a great inspiration.

  • Nice, little fresh cranberry...full of vitamin C and good for you to boot.

  • Are poisonous snakes a problem there?

  • @WVoutdoorsman100 ha ha there is no snakes at all in my area too damn cold!! i never seen a snake in my life!!

    thanks for commenting

  • ha ha awsome

  • @Gardensandcabins hunting and trapping if i get hungry i just go look for something to eat!

  • That was a most enjoyable video. Down here in Nova Scotia we get the cranberries growing not far from the beaches and they're right on the ground in the heath and the smell of the junipers and wintergreen berries and what all i'm not aware of makes the breeze as spicy as a kitchen. Mostly my wife and I buy them frozen at the store and make jam out of them, with stevia, though, not sugar. You're right about the fresh ones - they're the best. But cranberries of any kind are pretty fine.

  • Great video!! a really good education

  • I like the camera work, when you are walking along the path, past the camera. More work for you of course, but makes it overall feel more polished. Well done!

  • Good stuff. The camera work is getting better all the time. the walking through the bush shot was well done. I guess you're toting the .22 as bear medicine. thanks for the vid.

  • @mushercdn the jenny jew .22 was for rough grouse chicken my 30-30 was close by

  • DUDE your fking cool, I watch your vids and I quit being pissed at the world

  • @doggbiter ha ha cool

  • Thanks for the vids! Keep them coming cant get enough of them!

  • That juice looked Deee Lish!!!! Great vid, glad to see you don't have ice hanging off your eyebrows anymore!!!

  • @stayingawake20 yeah swede man the ice will be hanging pretty soon u got the shout out i gave you pike with beans and stick bannock on that video

  • @TheWildNorth I wonder how I missed that Bro? I must've stepped away for a beer or a piss! Thanks for the shout out! Looking forward to the next vid!!!

  • Well if I ever get turned around in the bush I'll be eating like a king until I make it out because of your videos. Then again maybe I'll just stay in the bush haha. Good stuff man.

  • Another good vid Andrew.I just did a similar thing this week with wild raspberries. Made a big pot of juice and froze some into ice cubes and used the rest as a dip for shortbread.

  • Awesome video Andrew. Figured you would of saved some for Charlie. Had me anticipating a shout out!! lol

  • Are they highbush cranberries? And is that a gerber axe in that chunk of wood?

  • That axe....is it a Fiskars? I have one and man it is the best axe I have ever used. It stays sharp forever.

  • @1212boochie yes the axe is fiskars it is the best splitting axe i ever came across.i also have a smaller version in machete i swear on my own life its the best axe i ever split wood with!!

  • yes it is fiskars damn good axe eh!!

  • Good to see the river boat, I was going to ask about it.

I was trying to do a swap people Mackenzie Delta style video but the videos were not very good. Picked some yellow cloud berries, saw a big moose in full velvet and Reliced through a couple creeeks but videos were not any good. I got to get a better camera.

Be picking low bush cranberries in a week or two. Be good if you do a video about those, I will copy whatever you do with them. Get the snowmobile out on the tundra.

  • Love the vid's on the outdoor and wild cooking/juice making. Do you get blueberries up there? Blueberry wine good buzz bad hangover =) Keep up the good work man!!!

  • Fresh squeezed cranberry juice! Looks great. Wish I was there to help pick 'em. Thanks for posting the video Andrew! -Kevin

  • Andrew, I like the summertime videos and I think it's pretty cool that you don't know the exact date. No worries man...

What's the gun caliber you are carrying? Is it for Bear protection or are you counting on your bear alarm, Charlie :-))

  • Hey man great video! We do lots of different things with High Bush Cranberries down here at home; like jams, preserves, syrups, etc. The thing we do differntly is we wait until we get our first heavy frost, this turns the skins clear and the berry darker red; and it gets much sweeter. I bet that juice was a thirst qwencher on a hot day. Keep posting videos we really enjoy them; take care and keep safe. Kevin

  • I've seen these berries before in woods but I always thought they're poisonous. Are there any berries in woods of north america (east coast) that are red and poisonous?

  • Do you get rabbits where you are?

Do you do any work during the summer or does the money from trapping keep you going?

  • what about the skull from that black bear you and charlie killed? what did you do with it..hang it on the fur shed?

  • damn andrew that was alot of work for fast drink like that...but i guess iam lazy...but i will bet it was good! peace man!

  • What kind of fish are in that river?? do you fish it?
