The old pac-man gets old FAST! I mean, you do the same thing all the time, over and over again! This is a game with a little more deept to it. I like this game. Its fun!
It's a fun little cartoon adventure game, and the Genesis had no other PC-like Adventure Games I can even think of, nor the SNES. It's linear in what it expects from you and the commands you put in, like any adventure game. Was Pac-Man the right face for it? Probably not. I still say it's a charming title. Plus, it had four or so old-school Pac-Man games built in. Pretty cool extra for a game at that time, and they're easy to access, not some end-game unlockable.
I played the SNES version as a little kid, yeah it's weird as hell but it's really pretty good if you can get into it.
Lots of exploration lots of Secrets, not for everyone but I like it. It's one of the few point and click adventure titles I don't think are more boring than taking a sh*t
This game is not the best but you should still play it. don't let reviewers like this keep you from some games because you may find them to be one of your best games.

I still remember the hang gliding level, that had to be my favorite. tried playing this on an emulator but didnt feel the same as it did on the genesis. this, mortal kombat, street fighter 2, and batman forever were my favorite games on the genesis.
It's true this game is nothing like the older arcade style pac-man, but for a point and click adventure on its own it's pretty good. When I was a kid, I found that in order to enjoy this game you aren't supposed to go straight for the object that pac-man is looking for. This game is better served as a way to sadistically abuse an iconic character. Getting attacked by crows, mauled by cats, beat up by hot-dog vendors, chased by bees.. Hundreds of ways to make pac-man's life a living hell!

When I was a kid I loved going into one of the houses on the left (the one with the little kid inside) throwing a power pellet and shooting the kid in the face with the slingshot... probably the funnest thing to do in the game.

i played this game when i was a kid on the snes, i really like it xD, the animations where cool and sometimes funny to look at...the problem was the controls and that it was called pac man, this should have been another game with original characters because pacman doesnt fit in this kind of games.

It was a puzzling game, it acted more like an interactive cartoon (I think that's how it's advertised on the box) where Pac-Man's emotions tend to affect what he does.
The game does include Pac-Man as a side game, featured in an arcade. Another game, "Pac-Jr.," has to be unlocked by finding certain objects. No, it's not Jr. Pac-Man.

Super Pac-Man was going to be the sequel but Midway got Ms. Pac-Man out first.

Having never played Pac-Man 2 before and never will, 3:33 I'm guessing that you have to shoot the bird, who will come down angry at Pac-Man, and knock the bottle off the sign, so he can take it to the cow.

keep the game !!!!! it has a conversion of pacman, and a weird jr pac-man version included .. you can go to a gameroom, and play them.. or on the genesis, use these passwords : pac man original - PCMN0RG , jr pac-man - PCJRDPW

i played this game when i was a kid on the snes, i really like it xD, the animations where cool and sometimes funny to look at...the problem was the controls and that it was called pac man, this should have been another game with original characters because pacman doesnt fit in this kind of games.

oh good Lord I remember this game...it did have an arcade somewhere in his "world" where you could play arcade pac-man...I remember clearly how my aunt and uncle would give me money to get them to that point so they could play the arcade version after hating the game so much LOL...Pac-man was stupid in the game too...it was a fail of rather obvious proportions...but hilarious though nonetheless haha (btw Twilight got BASHED hahahahaha!!!!)

i remember playing this as a kid and i liked it for its cartoony "adventure" style
(not really THAAT clever adventurish~)
when i see that video now i go like "that was pacman? o.o"

It was a puzzling game, it acted more like an interactive cartoon (I think that's how it's advertised on the box) where Pac-Man's emotions tend to affect what he does.
The game does include Pac-Man as a side game, featured in an arcade. Another game, "Pac-Jr.," has to be unlocked by finding certain objects. No, it's not Jr. Pac-Man.
P.S. When he's looking at the milk bottle, hit the crow.

I remember renting this back in day and taking it back 2 hours later because it sucked and you could rent as many games you wanted to in the same day at the local video store. God this was like PacMan on crack

But apparently, the US decided to call it Pac Man 2. So technically, it's a weird sequel/spinoff.

I used to play this game as a kid, and i loved it. Probably because i was a kid and just played the games that i had. I remember some parts being hard as hell tho. If i ever see the game in a pawn shop, i am going to buy it
