@LTF85199 yes i do because it causes corrosion in the tail boom and us the whole tail boom and is verry expencive to maintain cause it need to be checked very regularly

@rotorav8 Multi blade heads are FAR more expensive and by FAR much harder to track. Also, the performance you have with a 2 blade head is MUCH better than the performance of a 5 blade head. The 5 blade head really is only made for scale flight and not aerobatics. Also the 2 blade head is much easier to fly as well and does not usually require an extra gyro.
@TheL046Kid You misunderstood what I meant. In REAL helicopters multi blade (fully articulated) are way better than 2 (teetering). Also, in real helicopters 2 blades are the worst (not usable for low g) for aerobatics.
@Veitnamsoldier It IS real, a person just can't sit in it. It works just the way a full scale heli works--blades, engine, radio system, control, nav lights. It just smaller. But nonetheless, agreed, VERY impressive!
Look up the word notar mate, NO-TAil-Rotor - instead they have a fan in the tail boom, which forces air through the tail and out of a duct in the end - which acts as the tail rotor to provide thrust to counteract the torque forces of the main rotor!
it is the NOTAR Tech, look it up, it blows air through that big tail duct (pipe), effectively the same purpose as the tail rotor, but far safer and more reliable (in the case of the real one that is). I wonder why they are not as popular..probably cost.
I thought it was fake as soon as I saw it have only 2 blades.

Ive never een a notar model before , whats the deal , does it use the same thrust engine as the main turbine turning the blades ?

Does anyone know why the NOTAR (no tail rotar) technology is not getting very popular?

Holy bleep, that's a real challenge worthy of the die hard scale modeler, I'm not really into scale but damn that's really somethin.
