Dear heart, "occult" means hidden. Both Light and Dark forces are hidden from undeveloped Man. As Jesus taught his disciples hidden wisdom, so those who seek it out today can find it. "Our God is a consuming Fire." The bible is filled with references to divine fire, if you look. If the Hail Mary as currently used is strong enough, then why is much of the world moving toward darkness? It is what you do with your mind and heart as you do the Hail Mary that is the key, not the words, so much.
