Great performance of this beautiful song, and it is getting better, hopefully to the point where it becomes a staple on the tour. And no matter how Edge wants to play the pre-chorus, etc, I still fucking love that dreamy riff...

So he's got to sing easier songs... Can you imagine Bono singing Sweetest Thing live now? he couldn't hit the highs even in 2001, Elevation tour, picture it today then! What about Lemon? oh, he could NEVER sing that one live now! what about Heartland? Ha ha! no way!

Great to see them bring this back again. They need to keep changing things up. Throw songs like "Acrobat, Wire, Exit,Surrender" in the mix . Some rarities. Also I think "Bad" has to be in EVERY U2 concert, not one of those one day here next day not. That song is as much of a staple as "Streets" or "Pride" in my opinion.

personally i prefer the album version as opposed to this one. i agree with most people that the "you're in my mind" part seems kinda strange with the edge playing his new part as opposed to the album version. actually, it doesnt sound bad, but seems kind of out of place with the rest of the song. but they've only preformed it a few times so far and the tour is still young. the fact that they keep playing it proves that they want to perfect it live. only time will tell...
you mean the version that's on the "best of 1990-2000: B-sides".. that's the better version in my opinion... the guitar starts off in the biggining of the song and the drums pick up right after "on rainy days we go swimming out" right before "you're in my mind all the time.." but whatever version of this song they play, i reeeeaaaally hope they play this song, 'in a little while', and 'gone' from their 'pop' album. and then of course the rest of their classics.
They're getting better at this song, hope they play it in New York. Wish there'd be more songs from POP...maybe retry the majesty of POPMART- I think the experimentation that made POP such a wonderful 'Odd Ball' of the U2 canon would play great with NLOTH! Speaking of WAR, 'A Celebration' would be great to see played (though I know it's not on the album- but a single B4 it).

Fez Being Born in a good song and they don't play it!! These four fools should retire becuz they don't know how to pick sings anymore. New Yeards Day and Bloody Sunday. Every tour for 30 years they play them! Try playing something else from the WAR album 11o'clock tick tock, I have no desire to see this tour. Electrical Storm is among my favourite U2 songs, such a dark beauty. I saw it personally live in Milan for the first time. Soooo beautiful. They haven't played it for quite some shows now, obviously they've worked on it and it sounds a lot better now than it did in Barcelona and Milan.
11 o'clock tick tock was released with "under a blood red sky" which was the live single for new year's day. it wasn't on the War album, but some people mistake it to be so because it was released along with a single from the War album

when they first played this a few weeks back i was soooo excited...then i heard it....The ''your in my mind all of the time'' part just didn't sound right,and although it's getting better I still don't think it does the song justice.Why can't Edge just play the chords at that point rather than that strange riff ?It just doesn't work.Don't get me wrong they are by far the best band on the planet...and i love them to bits....and have done for 20+years...I just dont understand them sometimes.

I was to both shows. Performance wise, the second one was close to perfection. I would've obviously picked a somewhat different set list, snippet pool, and song structure were it up to me. :)
I was in Gothenburg the day before.. I wish they played it there :( It's one of my favourite songs!
