We can only control legal racism. The racism present in society is something that we can only speak out against and identify, like the racism you see in this video. The only solution to it is if people judge people based on the content of their character, rather than on the basis of their skin color, which is what MLK Jr talked about as well. The type of blacks in this video don't embody that spirit. They are racist just like any other people, if not more.

It's called identification. In the metanarrative of American politics white is accepted as the normative standard. Black and various other minorities are considered (as per the term 'minority') outside the accepted logos of the country.

This moment for black people is a vindication and affirmation of the positive role they have in American society when too often they have been marginalized or outright ignored. It is simply projective euphoria, not racism.

Racism and bigotry is predicated on the tenets of negative projection onto others. And like it or not, racial and ethnic roles still play a prominent role in the US and simply attempting to curb positive identification to combat it we should be actively engaging it on a national stage.

When people base their identity on superficials, it always yields bad results in the end whether you like to admit it or not. It could be something subtle as positively identifying with an unworthy person because of their ethnicity, or it could be something negative like making stereotypical comments about a whole group of people, such as "backwards cousin fuckers". It's not superficial because there is a commonality of experience to be shared amongst Asian-Americans and various ethnic minorities in America.
