im only 20 and i know these were indeed special times. games today are far to complex and serious.

Complex? Nope, I'm one of those people who love complex oldschool RPGs and am very disappointed that they're not made anymore...

The problem of modern games is not complexity it's soullessness and ever copying the same formula over and over again. Back then there were so many different games, now everything tries to be the same.
