  • No band in the history of music did what they did. This one song is a blend of Classical,Honky Tonk,Southern Rock and Power Rock. They are legends;.

  • They definitely inspired mei n more ways than one.

  • best

  • beautiful

  • This is a classic song from a class group. Good video :-)

  • It was nice of you to credit the musicians.

  • One of the best songs from the "Out of the Blue" album...a great album, and a one of it's best songs!!!

  • Now, THERE'S an album I wore out back in the day! Thank God for YouTube! Otherwise, these songs would be long forgotten and we'd just be listening to "The E.L.O. Hits" on the radio! This song makes me wish I WAS a Wild West Hero! God Bless Jeff Lynne!

  • GENIUS

  • We sung that at MADMOB

  • I love this song and you did a wonderful job with it. I can totally picture a young Jeff Lynne wanting to be a wild west hero, the Indian's friend. The world of dreams Lynne created in song is always inspiring to me and when I write I always listen to his music.

  • its a dream that most share I think "a desire to be free" and where better than an unexplored land (US 19th Century) such dreams that this image elicits!!! and a lad from Brum put this desire into words! love it!

  • I always thought this song would have fitted better on The Eldorado album

  • My Uncle owned a Horse Ranch in southeastern Colorado. Thanks to him, I spent some great years in the saddle. This song was one of my anthems!

  • Oh, I love this!

  • brill vid by the way, to a brill song and brill band. my fav

  • I remember when the chaser was on Rage this was the first song Andrew chose. He has the best taste in music.

  • For all my heroes who have been a Glasgow Tiger x

  • RIP Kelly

  • love this song...the wistful western sounds, the funky guitar riff, the a capella clip: ELO were total innovators!

  • hahahaha that's i listened to it to

  • A Hit in time

  • one of their best!

  • super video! und ein super lied. erinnert mich an meine doch eigentlich sehr schöne kindheit. mein bruder war großer elo-fan. da musste ich die ja zwangsläufig auch gut finden :-))

  • had this album, i still think they are the greatest, truly wonderful stuff

  • |Nice video, thinking of doing something with that song myself,Will try and put some movie clips into it if I can,...watch this space

  • will do lol

  • Yeh i luv this song 2..... Anybody here like The Chasers War On Everything? If so, look up "Andrew Hansen, a tribute" on YouTube. Those exact words. It has Wild West Hero and lots of photos of Andrew Hansen as a 5 minute clip. Its so cool! Only if ur a fan of the Chasers and Andrew Hansen like me....... =D <3 xxxxx

  • ELO was an incredible band. this is a beautifully awesome song. they really knew how to make MUSIC.

  • This band was about two decades ahead of their time. Brilliant songs produced that left you envisioning what could be, but lacked the tech and creativity of what we know now as the "music video".

  • best song ever , this is what i call a band playing real music

  • Nice

  • thanx, can u check out some of my other vids?
