  • SO now you can trim your trees as well as get rid of the pesky boyid.

  • I like it. Sweet shot!!!!

  • I was in the past a huge supporter of using headshots when hunting. It wasn't until I came to the USA to live and started hunting deer that I realized I had been looking at it completely wrong. Sure head shots are deadly but they are a low percentage shot that if not exactly right can maim an animal horribly taking them a very long time to die. In the case of a deer I once saw it had its bottom jaw blown off and lived for a couple of weeks in what must of been total agony.

  • @taipan185 That deer eventually died of starvation and its suffering really made me a firm believer in not taking head shots. Heart and lung shots often provide a much larger target and a much more stable target, no head bobbing about. If you are going to hunt you owe it to the animal you are hunting to be as clean about the job as you can, end of story.

  • Its not the fact, that some species have to be hunted in certain areas at certain times. Its the enthusiasm for killing of those people, the joy they feel, when they destroy the creature, the way they sensationally present their killing on video-platforms so that others, who feel the same can get really hard dicks watching it. Thats whats so disgusting about those "hunters". Mankind has been hunting since all eternity. But not like that. You are killers not hunters.

  • un tiro impresionante muy bueno la verdad

  • the crow may have not died instantly from the shot and his neck may have snapped hitting the ground or something.

also, yeah i wouldnt feel comfortable killing crows. they are up there with dolphins and other primates as far as intelligence and self awareness goes.

  • do u kill any thing other than birds like coon or any other pest

  • Those farm cats must love you

  • Don't kill crows.

  • @leffehoegaarden why the hell not?

  • @dutchdettweiler Just in case the two other comments didn't get the message across; watch his other videos so you can have a better understanding before you spew out nonsense.

  • Comment removed

  • @dutchdettweiler This guy is actually very good about not wasting animals he kills. He either gives it to some cats or gives them to other people with cats that would eat them.

  • @SpartanDara117

come on! that "he gave it to a cat" bullshit is NOTHING but a lame excuse. And you all know that. He likes to KILL. That is the point. stop sugarcoating his mental defect.

  • @dutchdettweiler He fed it to a cat. Don't get your panties all in a wad just because you lack a vital piece of information. Don't come in here spewing that shit you just vomited all over the comments section of this video just because you feel you are better than this guy. You're not. He's just as responsible as you, if not moreso.

  • LOL, awesome. They are a pest in my neighborhood too. What kind of pellet gun do you have?

  • how much was your air rifle.... or ... pellet gun?

  • this was really intresting

  • i wonder what a 7.62x54r round would do to a crow

  • They make that sound because win one crow gets injured or killed a lot of them will react and go crazy

  • I personally align myself with the second shooter arguement......but the richochet hypothesis is strong contender. :-) Keep the videos coming. Great dialogue and video, I know each vid probably takes a lot longer than it seems by just clicking play, the hard work pays off.

  • agh youtube is going backwards with comments! FUCK YOU YOUTUBE... agh the glitchynes

  • Corvidae (the family of bird that crows belong to) are extremely intelligent creatures. In fact, the supposedly most intelligent species of bird in the world is the New Caledonian crow; it beats chimps at using and creating tools! Obviously, killing this one was motivated, but in general, people should NOT hunt crows unless it is absolutely necessary. If you want to hunt birds then you should go for pheasants or other unintelligent birds, which is what I hunt.

  • @ChetzNation itts just a bird :S

  • @brad187em ...But a bird with a far more sophisticated brain than that of a human. If a crow would have a brain the same size as a human brain, with the IQ/volume ratio of a bird, it would be at least six times as intelligent as a human! Seriously, New Caledonian crows are smarter than chimps. "It's just a bird" is a pretty unintelligent argument, don't you think?

  • Strangely entertaining !!

  • @pitdog62

This guy is Da Best !!

  • Like you I learned to respect a crow's intelligence after many failed attempts at stalking them. As a teenager I only had a .177 cal. Crossman pneumatic. It was seriously under-powered when shooting crows at distances over 30 feet. I discovered that IF I could get BEHIND them and fire a pellet into their anus, the tough chest muscles were bypassed and a devastating wound cavity would blast through the entrails all the way up through the lungs and heart for a clean, fast kill.

  • @bulruq Rectum? Dang near killed 'em.

  • @bbbvvv312 LOL! It always has!

  • i did that yesterday!!!! except it wasnt a crow

  • you hit his heart bitch!! (nice shot)

  • this could have been a spine shit killing it instantly

  • Very impressive. On crow-size birds, a .22 cal. slug is massive and damage is proportional to that. We have large overpopulation of crows in my town - it's surrounded by farmland, 100s of crows fly in to roost over night. Can't shoot 'em. What I do is use 2 powerful flashlights and various noises to scare them. Crows definitely learn and communicate "risky areas" - I've driven crows away permanently after just 2 "flashlight attacks."

  • A shot through the top of the heart is nearly ideal: it takes out the ascending aorta and/or the common carotid artery and blood pressure to the brain drops to nothing. Death is nearly instantaneous.

In cervids (deer, moose, elk, etc.), a shot through the bottom part of the heart is fatal, but that doesn't mean they won't run away and find a place to die, usually in deep cover.

  • Bitches...((

  • this is so sweet!

  • everyone dat has a gun should be shoot cus if yu willing to do it , yu willing to take it. ill be gladly if i do yu d honors .

  • @KennyWins100 Uhh... What?

  • @KennyWins100 in English please..

  • crows creep me out... -_- I see them in graveyard a lot for some reason...

  • after that, i woulda played the damn lotto.

  • süperrrrrrrrr shott men

  • @codforlife AND YOU NO ENGLISH TEACHER.

  • after the bullet went through the twig, it must have gone slow enough to bounce around in his ribcage. That might explain how it was a one shot one kill.

  • Very impressive for an airgun! nice shot too...

  • I shot a crow in my back yard and dropped him and out of nowhere, about 25-30 other crow started flying around my house, making that creepy crow noise and swooping down at me. Fuckin weird

  • Scald them in hot water, the feathers come right out.

  • YOU SMAIL,YOU AMERICAN PIG,YOU KILL , YOU ASHOLE !

  • @codforlive relax its just one bird, there are more out there that'll just reproduce, besides it was eating his garen, he was just try to stop the bird from doing so is all

  • Check out my Air Rifle videos!

  • the thing with the heart/lung-shot... the body is then no longer supported with oxygen. but you know from diving, that you still can live some minutes without new oxygen ^^. losing a huge amount of blood might lead to faster "suffocation".. hopefully the experienced shock is then strong enough to overwhelm the pain ^^ on the other hand, if the brain is not completely destroyed at once, or missed, things are probably even worse. first one seems to be indeed the lesser evil?! ^^

  • you are a beast

  • That gun is sweeeet

  • Another great installment ! Love your work, really well put together and you a master of your craft guy..

  • You are my IDOL....yheaaa!!

  • Have you ever heard of the bird flu?

  • @JetLag611 women can be so judgmental.

  • @JetLag611 You're kidding right? Says the women - a gender that was extremely cowardly throughout thousands of generations to this very day.

  • nice

  • GREAT shot TED hear in upstate NY we crow problem and crow have a teritory they fly at times of the year depends on the food source ..I .E the trash truck or people .just shot one with my gamo socom extream 117.but my shot bounced and hit the crow low he died 50 ft away?

  • i killed a bird once... I shot it with my sling shot and then the owner of that canary was really pissed...

  • Is your role model the Dear Leader?

  • I hate crows and on the hunt for the best bang for the buck rifle

  • lol nice sound you got there

like your videos keep em coming

  • but you didnt know what kill the bird in the description of the video put why you kill the bird

  • kljlgliigfdkkuy;oik/., u y76r rriytgfr toz8

  • nice vid dude keep em coming

@Fusselschnecke shut stupid german douche you got no idea on all that stuff

  • Excellent video.

  • why would any one say a heart shot is not humane? i shoot deer in the heart, and never the head, unless there in pain(mutations/broken limbs/cut off limbs) and i can get a clear shot on them. there called vital organs not rarely used organs.

  • more over if you mess up a head shot you dont kill your prey. look up head shots gone wrong. yeah if your gaming head shots are cool but in RL not so much. and center of mass almost always kills. Good job like the vid.

  • crows are actually smart...they learn fast

  • thats cool what air rifle and scope i rly like that scope sights

  • you should have taken the crow to the post office. its a federal bird and the wild life website says you can take them there. what they do with it idk lol ima take one to the post office since its crow season.

  • I dont see the point in hunting crows at all their meat sucks and it's a waste of bullets

  • I love your vids and channel, but taking the feather off a crow for just cuz is kinda weird lol

  • Der Typ hat echt nichts vernünftiges zu tun. Kann dem Loser mal einer erklären, dass gerade Krähen die lokale Population von Sperlingen im Auge behalten. Krähen sind ausgezeichnete Nesträuber du Spacko. Also spar dir dein absolut wissensbefreites Dumpfbackengesabber. Typen wie du, mit nur einer Hirnzelle weniger - scheißen dem Bauer in die Hofeinfahrt.

  • the pellet probably deformed making more damage internally, since it was already tumbling.. so compared to his size, think of it as a .50 cal hitting you but spinning..... IT WILL TEAR YOU APART!!

  • Sounds like a nasty wet queef.

  • I've shot a little sparrow once, with my air pistol (one for precision shooting on a range) from something like 60-70 feet away, sitting on the top branches of a high tree, I did'nt even aim, as I just wanted to scare him, to make him fly to another position, lower down, so it was just a "swing up w/o aim and shoot" and the little bird did'nt even flap his wings, it just dropped like a stone, shot went right through his heart.

  • @zaldivarbigboy

were making was very, very scary. It was as if I had shot the devil himself and all the demons were coming to get me. That was two year ago, and still today the crows don't come to the job site anymore. They fill the power lines all round the location but not a single one comes near the building or to the area were their leader was shot. I was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had and it let me really know firsthand how smart and connected all the crows are. True Story.

  • i have a question about my scope because on a good day without wind i aim and the shot is always really under where i aim??? i tried positioning it down and it still shot the same? Please HELP!

  • can you eat crows?

  • What did you do to the crow afterward?

    a) eat it

    b) gave it to the cat

    c) gave it a proper burial

  • incredible shot! =D

  • Nice thinking I luv your videos!!

  • That was simply spectacular, this video has sparked my interest for crows considerably and even though the shot was lucky it was still a damn good shot man. Much props to you.

  • i love ur jop

  • @MrVrancu This is no airsoft gun. This is a .22 cal Air Rifle. although powered by air, it is much more powerful and far more accurate than any airsoft gun out there

  • is this a airsoft gun?

  • this happened to me once, no joke! but at an upward angle on a small lower branch

  • Comment removed

  • wow! very interesting, perfectly illustrates the unpredictability of 'dirty' shots. I find, in a concealed firing position that the birds kick off an amazing din and one or two will almost certainly approach and land close to the fallen thus, presenting more shots. Magpies will continue to do this all day long until you wipe the group out. but be wary of the crow, if his friends spot you when circling immediately after the shot, some will swoop at you to warn of and point you out to the rest.

  • mind= blown

  • Heart shot stops the heart producing a blood vaccum in the brain which causes bird to faint and die peacefully(under the circumstances). The "Head-shot" dummies are just kids who have seen too many heads blow up in video games.

  • Why do we call a bird sitting on a tree far away not bothering anybody a "pest" and shoot him dead?! Aren't we the pest here and crow the victim?

  • Lol my cat came over to watch because there was a dead bird haha!

  • well you made me buy a rifle...love the vids.i dont shoot birds i just shoot targets but its fun enough ocasionaly i shoot some rats that attack our chickens but thats about the only living thing i shoot

  • Mate, love your videos. Very interesting and informative, you're a natural presenter! Just curious.. You mention you like crows for their intelligence and ingenuity etc but fairly doggedly persecute starlings.. I can see the arguement for both respecting AND hunting both of these birds, do you not feel similar about the starlings as you do the crows?

  • 69 are crows :c)

  • sweet vid man .did kinda make me queasy when you were ripping the feathers off tho there nasty birds.. i dropped a crow from my bedroom window with a crosman m4 177 ..i think i used a crosman field hunting .177 an thats only like 620fps ...

  • He probably had a HEART ATTACK aswell.

  • You couldn't even do that in call of duty lol good shooting bud :)

  • is the jsb your favorite pellet? I just bought a .22 and have only been using crosman premier hp primarily for break in but am finding inconsistent shots. I am thinking it is the pellet and am wondering what pellets other people like best.

  • As a kid (back in the day) I made slingshots, bought bows & my favorite, a Daisy lever action BB gun.

A flock of pigeons would fly over my yard every day on a regular basis. I took many shots at them with my slingshot & BB gun with no results. Then one day I tried my bow & got a hit. It "flew" about 200 yards into my neighbor's chicken coop. Running there I was given permission to enter the coop & found my quarry.

After that shot the flock of pigeons avoided the air space over my yard!

  • JFK style bird kill... If you look closely there is a guy on the grassy knoll that took a second shot.

  • JFK shot?

  • where did u get ur pelet gun?

  • I'm not even interested in shooting, yet I'm completely addicted to your videos!

  • Did the other crows stay away for long? How effective was it as a deterrent?

  • i thought the bird wanted to fool us and was playing dead and when u got close to him he would attack u ..well u said they were kinda like humans right?

  • 2 m 21 sec. you're just so beautifully shot monster

  • What i do in Ireland after killing a crow that was eating my silage i hand their dead bodies on a wire above the silage as a warning to other crows

  • this was on 1000 ways to die. during the civil war, the confedarates would take the captured union soldiers and shoot them. However one time, a shot didnt go off. it was the last union soldier to be shot, and he knew it was coming. once the shot was fired, he dropped dead. no entry wound, no exit wound, no blood. he died of a heart attack. he knew it was coming, but there was nothing that hit him. strange right?

  • My first kill was with my mate greg we were annoyed coz we were eating chips (fries to yanks) and there were theese seagulls niking them, so we took all the mingin ones and put them in a pile in the park, i sat up in a tree an greg in a bush hahaha... Was wierd coz i shot first and thought id missed but greg shot waa neaely simultainious and the pellet hit a chip (fry) the bird was muching on which startled him so he jumped up into my pellet, he flaped abot a bit because it hit im in the gut ar

  • You talk like your reading a book

  • It is nice to see someone with curiosity for the outdoors still, good work. I did manage to kill a rabbit with a heart attack, that was a bit confusing for a while trying to figure out how the rabbit died without being shot(we were Pheasant hunting at the time).

  • i kind of had a confused shot too i shot this peigon through the neck and when i went to go get him he was gone nothing left but a feather i knew he was dead and i saw were it landed i went and it was gone if you have any idea of how this could have happened tell me please

  • i must say i do not approve killing SOME kind of birds, but your videos are really the best i've seen...

  • As Long As It's For Educational Prposes Only Youtube Wont Bane The Video Because You Cut Open The Bird. I Saw A Man Kill Cut Open And Cook Animals On Youtube.

  • @oMLKYWAYo I did the same - with a Rabbit. Youtube Age Restricted the Video. It isn't banned, but it's sort of "pushed into the corner" now. You can find that video on my Channel Page, or by search for "shoot, clean, cook a rabbit".

  • @EdgunUSA Do you hunt any large game or do you just stick to squirrels, rabbits, and birds? P.S. your vids are amazing and informative

  • MAKE MORE VIDEOS

  • i hunt birds with my air gun i killed a crow right in the neck and danced for a few before falling to the ground i felt kind of bad but i also diddint because they are really loud in the morning and they piss me off

  • crows are very smart, we once shot one and placed it on a fence. All the others actually had a crow funeral, pretty amazing site.

Maybe that's what the others were doing making all that noise when you were plucking the dead one.

  • Dude you have way toooo much time on your hands to talk this much about a damn bird you shot. You must like to hear your o

  • Por que matas aves...? NO ME SIENTO TAN MAL AL VER ESTE VIDEO PORQUE EN EL SOLO MATAS CUERVOS PERO EN OTRO VIDEO MATAS GORRIONES Y ESO ME ROMPIO EL CORAZON :,/

  • this is pretty cool.i like pest bird hunting nice shot Ted

  • WHY KILL bird

  • how fast is your air rifle?

  • are you making sweeping judements again? LOL

  • u gunna get aids or sumthin if you touch the bird bare hand...................rubbers always protect

  • a heart shot is a good shot .heard that you lose all movement and feeling and die within 10 seconds

  • Very nice shot guy. You are truly the "Quincy" of crows. Your voice sounds like the guy in Zomieland but no Double Tap needed here. Great setup too, keep'em comin' , like your vids and the editing.

  • Me and my friend like 2 shoot pellet guns we both wish we had guns like the one u hav it's awesome

  • Cool video. Good quality slow-motion pics.

  • Just as you took the shot chuck norris pointed at the crow

  • @crashkun Baaaaahahahahahaha, Nice...

  • crows are as smart as a 4-5 years old child.

if you blast at them with a shotgun while they are in flight ?, they will twist and turn to avoid the projectiles

In their mind -------------> Human + guns = projectiles = death

  • where is the best place to shoot a crow with a pellet gun at a distance (other than there head)

  • Omg ! U killed Kenny !

    U bastard !

  • HeeHee, yea crows are smart. I've had to do all sorts of lame things to get em too. Great documentary none the less.

  • Nice video and very nice shoot.!

  • good show! now lets see u do it again!

  • The best pet I had as a kid was a crow. Got it as a baby when it was trying to fly. Charle would follow me everywhere. I would bike or ride my gokart all around the neighborhood and he would come down and land on my bike handlebars or on the back of my gokart seat. They are smart birds. He also made it hard to work on anything, as he would steal the screws, bolts etc. He would mimic speach surprising well. Great video as all of yours are. Just thought I would share this little crow story.

  • send some pigeon or whatever pie to hawaii man i like new things

  • AWESOME RIFLE. & GOOD SNIPING TACTICS! :)

  • nice shot,i like your style of pest control, sweet air rifle too! kudos!

  • I like to kill crows. Nice work

  • maybe he just died on his on at the same time it hit him

  • @ktmsx114 Haha - I can't prove that DIDN'T happen. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @EdgunUSA you just shot him with a soundwave gunXD

  • maybe he just died on his own too old

  • Dude , why in the hell would you shoot a carrion eater ? You could have done something else ...

  • Very good video, I like how you comment on your videos, with very well spoken English, makes me wish i could speak that way lol

  • That bird was also the UNLUCKIEST BIRD ever to because he should have still been living, but glad for you that you stuck him.

  • what type of rifle do you use and where did ya get it? having a serious crow problem at my house; purple shit EVERYWHERE, on the house- hot tub, cars... my car got bombed 9 times in 1 day!

  • Almost anything that takes a heart shot with a consideral projectial (for it's body size), will ususally go limp near instantly because the blood pressure just drops and it's body goes numb. It does feel a little more pain than a clean headshot and it is much harder to hit, but it is humane compared to many other shots people take--especially a "dirty" headshot where the pain registering part of the brain is undamaged and it feels immence pain for 3-10 seconds.

  • I thought ''kawaisou''

  • Its true what you said in the video. A heart shot is as effective as a hearth shot. I shot a magpie from my bed with my window open, 10 meters away and fronting me, I hit it right in the hearth and the bird went straight down!

  • My new favorite channel on YT. Excellent quality video, narration, and informational. Thanks! You earned yourself a subscriber.
