People shouldn't bash on guitars based on their names. When you play guitars, you choose the guitar on the sound and play-ability, NOT by the brand. By no way are Taylor and Martins bad, yet at the same time they are NOT the best. The same goes for brands even like Yamaha and Squire. Not every guitar is fit for everyone, so there will obviously be guitars that will not be as enjoyable to one person as to another. Just respect the craft, respect the musicians, and respect the music.

Taylor, Martin is certainly a high end makers with high price range but not really prefered to be used by current fingerstyle players.

I figured out that Stonebridge, Larrivee, Kingslight, Rainsong are often used by modern players like Don Ross, Andy Mckee, Antoine Dufour, Erik Mongrain etc.

Oh yaaas the awesome mic. lol. Awesome vid jim. You keep nailing all these bloody songs, no one can keep up with ya. Mic seems to pick up the acoustics prity well. I take it theres a wee bit o sound quality loss when its put on ere.
