Has an extra verse in it than the studio version. It's such a treat the way Pete sings this song. IMO this song along with Let My Love Open The Door are the best pieces of the entire Attic series.
Pete Townshend is a god plain and simple, he is the reason I started playing guitar in 1976 and I play every day and every time I pick up my guitar I think of Pete and the child that flew by riding on a star...
Pete's songs make the downtrodden and losers feel like there's hope. As he once said, "Rock won't eliminate your problems, but it will sort of let you dance all over them."
@pappnasensack Nah it's not a Martin, it's a Collings. Handmade in Texas and very, very expensive. He mentions it in another song in the Attic series I can't remember which one.
@marshboy101 There's another Attic video and forgive me I can't remember which one, but he talks about his new guitar(the one you see him playing) and mentions it was made in Texas. SO...it's not much but it's a clue. Do some digging I'm sure you can find out.
@sidedoorjohnny Hey Marshboy I did a little research myself and found out it's a Collings, handmade in Texas and I hate to correct papp, I feel bad about that but I'm confident that is indeed a Collings, no idea what model but you can guarantee it's well over 5 Gs.
@condawgthesneak Hey man you could always try a site I use called whotabs.com. Im sure it's there cause I remember huntin it down there myself. Very simple really, hard to sing like that of course and that tempo is relentless but it's really nothing but a few simple chords.
Excuisite moment at 4:27 when Pete sings "now I'm here with you little darlin' " and they share a glance. The Who and PT were the band of my youth/adolescence and beyond starting about '74 and this may be his best song ever.
while i appreciate daltrey's treatment of the lyrics, i really love townsend singing this rather poignant lyric...and forget about his shredding that guitar. just fabulous.

Magic--love--at 5:25 when Pete gets to that verse. Gets me every time. This has to be one of the most beautiful "In the Attic" moments ever.

I love Pete and could listen to and watch him all day, but who is this guy in the back ruining it? I can hardly stand watching this because of him!

Man can Townshend play... I like the differences between him and the original. This has a lot more heart.
