@AgentLuigi You actually don't need the sequencer, all you need is to have beaten it on Normal/Hard. After that, you can do it pretty much anywhere in the game, even on the title screen.
Another thing I found out while messing around, you only need to rotate the right thumb stick while holding the triggers down.
how did you get big head mode without the sequencer?
