Which direction are the magnetic fields of the magnets forming the rail. I assume that somewhere along the rail the North/South direction must invert? What happens with the flux pinning at that point? The flux lines must be shaped differently at that point.
@hlve0001 The magnets are set-up in a N-S-N-S config, and the track is a möbius ring, it have only one side and one edge. So the magnets just lays in a row.
They stop at last when the Liquid Nitrogen has vapoured and the pellets loose their Superconductivity.
