I was raised as a Christian, though I must admit I'm not a religious person, in the traditional sense of the word. However I do recognised the profound teachings of Chtistianity and that of Buddism, They are not incompatible at all and teach good things, only humanity tends to seperate. So I guess the important thing is, that we believe in God and do good things for all. We have all come along this path together Hildegarde was and is an inspiring woman. God bless her for her untiring good works.

It is interesting that you say that Hildegard "is and was an inspiring woman" in combination with your points of view according to man´s relation to God.

Hildegards teachings on this relation are very clear and very very actual - but for sure she is not teaching that it is enough that "we believe in God and do good things for all".

It is an error to think that Christianity an Buddism are compatible, as they finally are not

The mystic Hildegard of Bingen provides still now in our time the means to hear and visualize GOD in a way that is full of agape.

It is nice for me, as a man, to hear God in sound in this way.

Lieber Eduard. Normalerweise kriegt man doch von euch linken, armen Tröpfen verbal die Keule übergebraten, wenn man anders denkt als ihr(besser: denkt, anders als ihr). Also hab dich nicht so und nimms locker, wie du als Linker alles locker nimmst, solangs nur andere ausbaden müssen. Und tröste dich: Im nächsten Leben steigst du bestimmt auf zum Trottel, das "armer" trägst du als Präfix ja schon in diesem, nich.

@markus10010 und überhaupt: so ziemlich das BESCHEUERTSTE mit hildegard fans auf youtube finde ich, dass man LAUFEND videos sieht - ich habe auch einen - wo man bewertungen AUSschalten muss, um sich vor selbsternannten DEPPEN zu schützen, die sich als HÜTERIN der hildegard verstehn. so doof es ist, jedes shampoo mit hildegard zu beschriften, so doof sind ihre pseudogebildeten "verteidiger". einfach LÄCHERLICH, das ganze :-)

es ist das eigentümliche am gregorianischen Chorgesang, dass es manchmal wie eine Stimme klingt, obwohl es von mehreren Menschen gesungen wird.

Ich werd wohl mal die Beschreibung ergänzen, nachdem ich es offensichtlich nur bei einem der Tracks vollständig angegeben habe bisher. Schlamperei meinerseits.

Jedenfalls waren die Ordensfrauen vor 1.000 Jahren weitaus "emanzipierter" als das heute normalerweise bekannt ist.

És ist durchaus spannend, sich mit derartigen Themen aus der "Innensicht" (sprich innerkirchlichen Sicht) zu beschäftigen. Aus der Aussensicht wird da meiner Erfahrung nach viel zuviel verdreht und falsch dargestellt.
