  • i think rice takes time to cook so maybe boiling it a tiny bit before may help.- Before starting to make sweet rice. When i make it i dont think that i will use that much sugar!

  • nice recipe! Just in case anyone is confused, you dont need to add the coconut, or nuts, or you could add sultanas too. You dont need to add the paneer or any of that stuff to the top at the end either, it wont really change the dish. You dont need to add the cloves either. To ne honest i think the cloves mess the taste up a bit.

    hope tis helps anyone.

  • it was quite informative vedios, once i was cooking zerada and put sugar in oil but al sugar bcome solid lol and i did not know what to do, byt any way thanks for information.

  • Hello, I'm just recently beginning to cook and your video are an awesome aid. I was wondering if you ever use shaan/national masalas instead of always making your own. Is there any difference or would you do some using those masalas? ANywho, keep up the great work and I'm hoping there's only tons more to come =)

  • All these ready made masalas available in the market, most of them are good and worth trying, and we all uses them occasionally.

  • yes...and ghee, not oil...oil ruins the flavor & taste, what's the point of having bad tasting food in the name of "healthy choice", especially when the refined oil here is one of the worst things for health?

  • Amma actually layered the rice with the khoya & &some nuts, poured syrup & ghee on top, & then cooked it on dum.

  • Comment removed
