what game is this? i have a MSTS, but it only has 7 locations and 6 engines, plus preset car consists. where can i download maps and engines and make my own consist? free preferably.
Man thats a wierd firebox door.Well i think that was common because the pennsy used a different type of firebox then the standard one's on the other steamers
Ahh steam trainz. Polluterz and futile to today's trainz. But were cool because of the sound they made and the fact you can see plenty of moving parts! i wasn't alive at the time but i like them

It was first recorded by the Carter Family, and later sung by Roy Acuff in 1936.

Steam trains aren't futile, it take two diesels to do the job of one steamer. And diesel fuel is so expensive. ;)
BTW, love the song, who's the artist?
JonatanGronoset 5 years ago
I don't know. But the song is "Wabash Cannonball" that I got from the music folder of "Sid Meier's Railroads!"

your right about that
ive seen 4449 and 844 pulling a longer train faster than any fancy Amtrak diesels together :)

True, the Pennsy did use that type of door on most of their locos. i have also seen them on other railroads, particularly small narrow gauge lines.
