I have an orc shaman he was a resto but i changed to enhancment he is 48 soon 49 but gamecard has end but yesterday our healer leaved and i took on my healing gear then i healed my friend 2237 is that much for an lvl 48 enhancment shammy?!
Usually it's raid heal since we have chain heal. But theoretically you could be single target with Riptide, Lesser Healing Wave, Lesser Healing Wave combo working. I don't know the build that'd be to make that work best though, I haven't been shaman too long.
@FrostByte38 whatever you do dont to pally healer, im sorry to say but i hated pally healer in every dungeon or raid i have their heals are meant for backup healing lol i tried it myself to.. they suck . first time i suggest druids :) awsome healing over time and super super fun!
Great video man! I got a 80 Shaman aswell and I think your tips are really nice. I'm gonna write em up and keep practicin for perfection. One thing though that bothers me is: Can we mainly heal the entire raid, or are we more effective at healing 1 specific group (like melees) etc? And what should I think about in my rotation of spells? What's needed in different situations and such.
Last I most ask what's the name of the black frame addon, where the text, spells are located?
Hmm, almost looks like the same addons and setup I use. For triage, if you have raid frames set to display damage taken and not life left, then you don't even have to think about it. That what most healers don't get.
HoTs take time to make a real effect, if your tank is in danger of dying you need to get a big heal on him quick and then put the HoTs on. - No point putting HoTs on him if he is about to die :) -
In that kind of situation HoTs are a back up, or effect to buff your big heal (on a druid) - Then roll your HoTs to keep him up until large spike damage then throw another truck of health at him.
What are you AddOns? the one box where your clicking on? i guess thats your team? i have no good addons for my healer and i need some. i have WOW Matrix... any there?
i dont know if your answering stuff but i someone may, i have a 50 shaman and im going to go resto and level 58-80 that way... im just woundering if in regular instances ill just be doing lesser healing waves and riptides. And in raids will i just spam chain heal?
It's mostly up to you but in instances I used chainheal and healingwave alot more, because you can wait for the damage to roll in and such, damage doesn't need to be healed right now immediatly, particulary if it's only somethings like 2k damage.
Hey River long time viewer seen ALL of your Oblivion videos and i didnt even know you played WoW I guess we like the same kinda games, I play (currently) CoD4, WoW, CS:S and a tiny bit of Maple.
I also really really like Diablo 1 and 2 but I always loved Oblivion i could just never finish it (Always had problems with it hardware style)

nightbind19 2 years ago
@nightbind19 They are a little of both, Earth Shield for example heals the target when he takes damage, and Chain Heal heals multiple targets

mushman05 2 years ago
go for mp5, int, spell power, haste and crit rating.
and for god sake use a shield and not a off hand fancy thing the extra armor is really worth it
ThePaladinOfLight 2 years ago
int stam and mp5 also you need some crit but that usually comes with the gear and LOTS OF HASTE!

Which healing race/class would you recommend for a first-time player?
FrostByte38 2 years ago
Hi, It really depends on what style you want but any race does (Minmaxing might have a few combinations though).
Think about the style you want.
Druid - Raidwide strong Healing over time.
Priest - Strong Preventative Shields or Big Raidhealing in Bursts.
Shaman - Toolbox healer, strong singletarget and chainheal.
Paladin - King of singletarget, pretty spammy. Relatvily easy.

@RiverOfMind you forgot about bandage healers :o

I'm using Grid for that, a fair few people to, it's rather easy to use. That's the only one I'd REALLY say healers need.
