I am under the impression that the angels don't wink or close their eyes. I've seen that in 5x03 with Rafael, and now when I'm looking at cas, he generally doesn't wink either.

Does anyone else recall Uriel saying that he only killed the angels that refused to rebel against God (in his garrison) and did anyone notice the pictures/images change from pleasant to apocalyptic while Zechariah was talking. I think that the entire garrison is corrupt except for Castiel, that they're trying to seduce Dean (God's mortal weapon) to not do his duty, and that perhaps Chuck isn't a prophet of God but someone the fallen angels are manipulating for Dean's sake. Thoughts? Anybody?

I like Chuck but you recall Zechariah strong-arming him and in spite of Chuck being a prophet Castiel was able to break God's Prophecy by choice. It seems that the Fallen Angels are using him by irritating and then slowly appealing to Dean and Sam. That or Chuck wasn't given the full details and Castiel was meant to come and perhaps the Archangel was coming to help Cas fight off the pursuing Fallen Angels.

Maybe but then maybe Zachariah was working with Uriel and has been lying to Dean. Remember on 4x16 Castiel found his "sister" at the beginning and Uriel said 7 angels had been murdered

I hope that it turns out that the garrison has "fallen," otherwise I think the only other direction the story can take is that God is evil and that is whack. Hopefully it's Castiel, the Winchesters, and on occasion a few other "major" angels fighting an entire fallen angel garrison.

I love the "tow the company line" and the "corporate" motif that pervades the 'green room' in this episode. Totally harkens back to 4.17 and, of course, the offer of 'paradise' and an illusory happiness harkenng back to 2.20. SPN's use of themes is awesome.

I know, it's so cute!! Cas feels guilty, soooo freaking guilty! And it's adorable because he is pretty much the ONLY angel capable of human emotion (discluding Anna, of course. But who knows if she is even still alive!)

Awesome episode, I wish we could have seen more of Castiel, and the arch angels but I think maybe Castiel was secretly working for them or it was a test for Dean which ever.
