The only problem is that there are billions of galaxies, therefore it matters not how slim the chance was that this one would be able to support life. He states himself that there is only about a tenth of a percent chance that the universe would be able to support life, that's one out of 1,000 galaxies. There are billions of them.

Repentance doesn't mean turning from sin it means to change your mind. God does more repenting than anyone else in the bible(36 times)

I said the "sinner's prayer" several times as a kid, tween, youth, young adult. At 19 I stopped going to church and "turned away" from the faith..but wait, I had never actually TURNED to Christ is the 1st place, repentance was never explained. Praise God!, through God's regenerating power of His Holy Spirit, I was convicted of my sin and got saved in my 30's!...and I didn't even need to say "the prayer"...it was totally the power of Christ! HALLELUJAH!

False or ignorant preachers have not taught us true Christianity and true repentance is turning from old ways to new obedience. What does repent mean there...he stopped sinning and went to work or he changed his mind and went to work? Repent = change of mind, unless specifically said otherwise in a context of sin, especially in the old testament.
i find a bit absurd that there is an evangelist movement pointing the finger at other christians when they are still keeping idols (any image of G-d), defiling their bodies with unclean food, worshiping on a pagan sabbath, and worshiping on pagan holidays. The only problem is that there are billions of galaxies, therefore it matters not how slim the chance was that this one would be able to support life. He states himself that there is only about a tenth of a percent chance that the universe would be able to support life, that's one out of 1,000 galaxies. There are billions of them.

But those who don't "return to the dust that they were made from", Hell is a metaphor for the worst thing ever - to be cut off from God. "Pit" is another word for grave.

Perhaps you should do the same. Jesus teaching can be jarring as well. Read Matthew 5-7. You cherry pick verses and pull them out of context and make up your own unbiblical terminology. Repentance doesn't mean turning from sin it means to change your mind. God does more repenting than anyone else in the bible(36 times)
Exodus 32:14(KJV)-"So the Lord repented from the harm which He said He would do to His people. God was turning his wrath from his people. God obviously wasn't turning from his sins!

Because we in our nature only want to do what's most beneficial, pleasing, and easist to us. We don't always see it so plainly, but it's completely contrary to what we, left to ourselves, want. Jesus lived a life completely different, and we should do. I'm glad that you ask, and so humbly, so many believe in an easy way and they're deceived, because their taught one thing at church, and see completely different in their bibles. Yet, the bible is the standard. Seek... and God be with you!

I said the "sinner's prayer" several times as a kid, tween, youth, young adult. At 19 I stopped going to church and "turned away" from the faith..but wait, I had never actually TURNED to Christ is the 1st place, repentance was never explained. Praise God!, through God's regenerating power of His Holy Spirit, I was convicted of my sin and got saved in my 30's!...and I didn't even need to say "the prayer"...it was totally the power of Christ! HALLELUJAH!

False or ignorant preachers have not taught us true Christianity and true repentance is turning from old ways to new obedience. What does repent mean there...he stopped sinning and went to work or he changed his mind and went to work? Repent = change of mind, unless specifically said otherwise in a context of sin, especially in the old testament.

i find a bit absurd that there is an evangelist movement pointing the finger at other christians when they are still keeping idols (any image of G-d), defiling their bodies with unclean food, worshiping on a pagan sabbath, and worshiping on pagan holidays. "believeth not" translates to "apeitheó" which means "to disobey". tha is why many other versions of the bible say, "whoever does not obey".

But When I didn't know I had to be born again, I would not have a true relationship with God with full of Love. I needed to know the reality of me being a hypocrite. I was, since my heart never followed what I said. It's so true when you're at church and you think about leaving, you're definitely hypocrite.

unlike you darling, i have a non-religious concept of God. God exist outside religion. you really believe one can "burn in hell"? religion teaches you fear. they teach that human beings are doomed from the beginning. they create a villain (the devil) and a hero (your's truly, J.C.) .. i have no such fear of hell.

Very few Calvinists hold evangelistic services, and rare indeed are the Calvinists who engage in Personal Evangelism. You will not be offered to come to Jesus and be saved BECAUSE YOU MAY BE ONE OF THOSE GOD SO MADE FOR HELL.This is why Calvinism is a dangerous false teaching in the churches - it kills Christians' zeal for winning the lost to Jesus. That is just what the devil wants.

People often have a misconception of predestination, and they assume that if God predestines to save, He must predestine people to Hell. This is NOT biblical, and true Calvinists do not hold this view at all. Of course, you will not find it in scripture either.
Faith cometh by hearing; We are commanded to evangelize.
And Paul Washer is far from prideful. He is passionate and God-fearing. I suggest you learn from him.
Second, go educate yourself first before you call the truth false teaching.

The Arminian doctrine does not hold up to scripture if you dissect the Bible. It will eventually produce contradictions and the Bible would refute itself.
If you understand how to do exegesis you will learn that the same word used in different scriptures has different meanings in many cases.
For instance, in John 3:16, according to Strong's Concordance, the definition of the word "world" or "kosmos" is "of believers only". Talk to any theologian or Bible scholar and they'll tell you the same.

To those unlearned of the original texts, Calvinism will seem a bit confusing, but it holds up to scripture more than anything else. The scriptures are a perfect masterpiece most manifest in the doctrines of the reformation. The doctrines of election existed way before the time of Calvin, and it was thanks to the reformers that we separated from the Roman Catholic Church.

Anyone who understands the Greek language knows that its expression is greater than the English language, and it is why we use lexicons to see what an English word really means.
As you may have seen already, I have proven that "kosmos" in John 3:16 refers to "of believers only".
Now, as for the word "all" or "pas" in other verses, one translation from Strong's is "2a. Collectively; some of all types"
In fact, words such as these very rarely refer to the whole population of the world.

And similarly, if you use cross referencing between scriptures that share the same word, and use the same assumed definition of what you may believe it means, you will encounter fallacies all across the Bible.
I know I was confused at first, never examining the Greek language, but now I have a much more accurate grasp upon the truth. And I ask that anyone who reads this to go investigate this for themselves. Don't just take my word for it.
Go to a seminary and study God's Word.

I found that the underlying Greek text for the King James, the Textus Receptus, was the Greek text of the Reformation. It represents 95% of the existing manuscripts that we have today. The Greek text that underlies all these other versions. Theres a Westcott and Hort Greek text, which I then discovered was really a conspiracy to adulterate the Textus Receptus in England, led by Brooke Foss Westcott and Anthony Hort, who were Maryolitors, Mary-worshipers.
