Thanks for posting this, I was specifically looking for some Fred Astaire dancing with Vera Ellen, it should never have been Fred & Ginger, Vera Ellen was BY FAR the best female dancer Hollywood ever saw, Much better than Ginger

Amazing atheticism. Hollywood may not do this anymore because it would not be that popular. Locally these dances and clubs are all over the nation and thriving. Just because it's not on a major motion picture does not mean this style of entertainment is dead. Far from it. There are national swing clubs, tap dancing and a lot more all over the world.

MY GOD this is so amazing. there may be people around who can still dance like this, but sadly they sure aren't as popular as "so you think you can dance" what a joke. i agree - from the era of vaudeville came the most talented dancers and musicians we've ever seen. screw MTV's TRL. people don't know what talent is anymore.
