All respect to Living Sacrifice for showing in an amazing way that metal ain't all blasphemy and gore. I love Cannibal Corpse, Slayer and Decide (Deicide being the only satanic band of those three) as well. It's just refreshing to have a band that well as those bands and love God at the same time.

Dude, I'm a professing agnostic and I like several Christian rock bands. Living Sacrifice, Demon Hunter, The Showdown, and Zao proved to me that not all Christian music is atrocious... plus, while I don't necessarily think religion is for me, I respect bands like this proving the idiots who say I'm gonna "burn in hell" for listening to metal wrong...

I digress, when I began to understand how music comes together studying theory I realized that there are seven notes in every scale and seven possible modes that can be played against any note that purvey a particular mood and those moods convey an entire range of emotion. Music is by God's design and his wrath is as relevant as his mercy.

They were like a poor man's disjointed Nine Inch Nails, except that I did not enjoy them, other than the fact the concert was loud. But that's all they had going for them.
I wish I could spread Living Sacrifice as it deserves. I'm not longer Christian, but The Hammering Process is still one of the greatest albums ever made.
