with the white polar bear i did the quest for it dinged 78 or 79 and got the mount 1st try

looks so much cooler than the travelers mammoth. . . its just the same too because the companions leave the travelers mammoth when your friends hitch a ride. . . 11k cheaper and you can up you engineering with the extra money and get a make a repair bot

mammoth is ok if u get 2 more friends lvlin with u so they hitch a ride on there BUT i prefer the other mammoth with the trades man on them

It's a mount, but currently functions slightly like a vehicle (i.e. takes a second to mount/dismount and as of 3.0.8 it takes no fall damage and neither do you).

i got my polar bear on the 3rd or 4th day of doing those dailies didnt even know it was a drop the only thing i dont like about it is that its smaller than my black war bear so i dont like it as much

Not this mount. The Traveler's Tundra Mammoth (purchased in Dalaran for 20,000 gold @ neutral) carries 2 vendors (repair & trade goods).
