  • wonderful acid for your eye did it have like spazz atacks afterwards

  • I'm having this surgery in about 3 weeks, hopefully 2, depending on work. How long did it take until your vision was acceptable? I'm hoping I can have the surgery on Thursday and have vision i can return to work with by Tuesday. Let me know. Thanks, Greg

  • So cool man. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very funny commented. The tape was new, but I remembered the rest on my own eyes *g*.

  • yeah man, I'M HAVING A ASS SURGERY MAYBE I CAN POST IT TOO!

    congrats!

  • Wow that is so different from how it is shown on "How it is made" or in the case of that episode, how it is done.

  • whoa thats dope mikey. btw this is danielle :)

  • I'd love to know where you had this procedure done. My son was told he needs PRK as opposed to LASIK because his corneal tissue is too thin. How long before you went back to work or school? I was told he needs a week to rest. How is your vision doing now since surgery? Best of luck.

  • Are you sure that it was acid on your eye and not alcohol? The epithelial layer (the skin) was removed and the laser was applied to the corneal stroma below. I am so glad that you didn't have LASIK. You will never have to worry about accidental flap dislodgement, or the fact that the flap never heals. Doctors in Europe remove the epithelium with a newer, better laser---totally non-touch surgery. My advice is to wait for FDA approval for the iVIS laser from Italy. Much better technology!

  • Why did ya even put the heatrbeat sound? IT only made it worst

  • So that's what happens when someone gets lazer eye sergery! Did you have the option of staying awake or was that your only choice? man, what would've happened if you would've moved your eye when the acid was on it? That probably wouldn't be good!
