I will see moving hearts at festival interceltique de Lorient in august 2008. My parents love this band, I've only 16 and it will the first time I've see they. I can't wait !!!!!!! Sorry for my english (i'm french and I don't speak very well^^).
Aye Nicholas that is Davey Spillane. Maybe the pipes don't sound so "pure" as it was recorded off a hand held camera but that is pure and the best of Moving Hearts. More gigs coming summer 2008.
great music, i used to have a tape of moving hearts-storm when i was a young lad, i lost it,finally got the cds and all ,the music they make is unbelievable.
Stunning. About time the real sound got reclaimed from that feckin' awful soundtrack about the big boat, and yer woman with the long face. Hope they make it to Celtic Connections in '08. Party on!
back fron the gig - everything i hoped it would be - truly inspiring to see such masters at work (well at play really, as they were enjoying it so much).
......and this columnist went to a "Tribute to Donal Lunny" featuring Moving Hearts last night in Galway. Brilliant Hearts show, awesome stuff! No sign of one Christy Moore, a man who was there at the start of the Hearts. Great concert.
hi, could you help me? i need moving hearts´song letter. It called "what will you do about me" I searched it on internet but i could not meet it, thanks
Hello, the song 'What will you do about me' is on Moving Hearts second album: 'Dark end of the street'. It's sung by Christy Moore and has a great sax solo by Keith Donald.
thank fechin, i am interesed about song letter "what will you do about me". I have it song but i dont understand spoken english i need read it so i can understand it. Could you help me?
hi fechin, sorry late answer you but today i saw you sent me. I am happy and grateful to you. Still i dont translate it but i´ll do as i have finished this post, Greetings fechin
Thank you for posting this. I was at the last gig in Feb and 'Tribute' was a real highlight. I had never heard Keith Donald's sax part to this tune before - really added to it. Having said that, Tribute will always remain a Spillane track. Two amazing musicians and an incredible, influential band. Got any more?
I've always loved this tune and was tickled pink when I heard Keith playing on it too. The gigs we great and I'm really looking forward to hearing more of them. Re more footage will see what I can do.....

Are you shure thats davey spillane? He looks like he's bald. And his pipes dont sound the same. They aren't as pure sounding.
