Miss Chile tuvo una excelente entrevista personal y la segunda mejor presentación en traje de noche, pero en la presentación en traje de baño tuvo una caída producto del vapor de hidrogeno que echaban en la escalera que debían bajar, lo que le bajó considerablemente el puntaje y que a la larga le costó la clasificación quedando en el lugar 16... una lástima ya que era muy linda

Oh good Lord. I used to be obsessed with beauty pageants. I had this 1991 Miss Universe competition on VHS for the longest time, then eventually taped over it. I remember all of these girls' faces, and their costumes. ;-D I watched the pageant over and over so many times. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! And I don't think either Miss Netherlands or Miss USSR deserved top 2 and 3 respectively. Miss USSR sucked in interview, and Miss Netherlands never stopped flipping her hair. :-)
