Citroen is a nightmare car, you need to change the clutch every 30000 km. In general french cars are so bad. my advice to anyone who want to buy car to buy german or japanese cars only.
@karlprades Agree, C5 is way better, and prettier. The only handicap is the material of the dashboard, but only that. Instead, 508's interior is a boring and bad copy of german cars. Both have same engines, so the main diference is the suspesion as you say. By the way, i have a 406 since 15 years...and if i had enough money, i would buy C5 for sure.

Hätte er gewusst das das maximale drehmoment von 370 Nm beim 2.2 hdi bereits bei 1500 umdrehungen anliegt und er ihn auch in diesem bereich bis maximal 3000 bewegt hätte, würde das auch ganz anders ausschauen!
@karkass4 Dude what did you expect? It's not a racing car and it is still really fast compared to other diesels on the road. Example: Volvo XC90 : 2.4L Diesel for a massive thing - it is extremely slow on the motorway and on long hills. Example: Chrysler Voyager - 2.8CRD - also sucks.
The great thing about this car is that can do the same sprint in only 2 seconds more at 2000-3000 rev's, thats how HDI works.

Wrong: My Citroen C5 2.2 Hdi 170 has running 12000km. Whitout change clutch, dont talk shit about Citroen.

You can't compare 508 and C5 ... C5 is really better, and your 508 had 204 ps for 1,54 ton (handling, road holding, hydraulic power ! )
Drive a C5 2.2 hdi 173 HYDRACTIVE once a time in your life ...
