i lost my beautiful niece last week due to meningitis, i cry everyday, and wish i knew more about this disease so that i could prevent this from happening.. she is with god now.. god bless you all who have made it.

That's true. But the Hib and Meningococcal vaccines can prevent 4 types of meningococcal disease, including 2 of the 3 types most common in the U.S. (serogroup C, Y, and W-135) and a type that causes epidemics in Africa (serogroup A). MCV4 may have prevented this normal college student from losing his feet and fingers.
