Reagan Tripled the National Debt. He heralded the AIDS & crack epidemic. His administration oversaw the Rust Bowl, when our jobs went to Mexico and China. The American family farms collapsed under Reagan leading to a suicide epidemic amongst farmers.He fired the Air Traffic Controllers resulting in the most deadly decade of air travel in modern times. His admin. committed treason: Iran Contra Affair. His administration officials were convicted, on their way to prison, Bush One pardoned them all.

Reagan increased revenue with his supply side economics platform, he would have had to destroy every entitlement already in existence to have eliminated the dept. Because was and is not an option, he did the sensible thing; attempted to have economic growth outpace government growth. Unfortunately the liberal legislature prevailed, they hold the purse.
