sora has almost no part in this game. but he sora becomes the next keyblade bearer after terra is destroyed. terra is destroyed after he kills xehanort, as terra had to kill himself to destroy xehanort. but before xehanort is destroyed, he releases the hearts in kingdom hearts (you see kingdom hearts towards the end of this video but it is not dest ). thus creating the heartless. vanitas is destroyed by terra but not befor vanitas kills aqua. aqua is not connected to kairi in any way.

Their ages were never said, but Aqua was refered to as a little girl (by Hades) Ven ends up in something similar to a coma. Terra loses his body to Xehanort and swears to one day make things right again between him and his friends. Terra said nothing about being a guardian, he said Aqua, Ven some other stuff, Sora not being the one he chose (Riku) and mistook Sora for Xehanort. I know these things. I know.

- At the end of BBS, Ven is unconscious after defeating Vanitas and the x-blade. Aqua takes him back to their homeland, The Land of Departure, and unlocks the world. This turns LoD into Castle Oblivion.
