personally, while I think that the idea of men being unable to hit women no matter what is wrong, I also think that bringing violence into a verbal argument is terrible regardless of gender. if a woman hits a man, he should be able to hit back, also on a more technical note a slap is not weaker than a punch and can in fact do more damage as well as have greater short term pain and shock factors.

Perfect example My mother used to back me into a corner and slap me hit me in the body and say "what are you gonna do about it?" cause she knew I was mad. I never hit her but I was so close because she kept provoking me. If that was my girlfriend or some random woman who disagreed with me she would get slapped in the face with remorse.

It never solves anything. Sitting on me is hilarious... I have a laugh reflex when I get scared or hurt, he can't always tell the difference. He's also a foot taller and 35kg heavier than me.
