After the blast on some blocks you can see a haze of oxide left on the blocks. Do you sometimes turn the block around for better access to hard to hit spots?
HI John, Are you using stainless flake shot or balls? would the blasting affect any clearences like the mainline or lifter bores, etc? A lot of the bigger local shops near me have a bayco oven, but then just jet wash it afterwards, I like the sunnen system better. thanks again. -scott
Wow I would have thought the block would have been junk all eaten up like that. Personally if I saw a head like that I wouldn't even bother taking it to the machine shop.
