for those wondering about how the mouse survived....think of people that work with snakes. they take in a bit of venom to help develop anti-venoms. over the years they can stand to take larger doses and be immune. so maybe over the years the mice eat various sized scorpions, eating their venom a bit and slowly becoming immune?
